What do they find under the waves?
Atlantean Nazis!
There was a Nazi submarine with giant mechanical crab legs and claws.
Sue Storm should not have been surprised. She had seen things most people could barely comprehend. The idea of an ancient U-boat, with prominent swastikas, modified into a kind of ocean-crawler, wasn't even in the top ten weirdest shit she had ever seen. Yet, someone had to say it.
"It can't be Nazis," she said, her voice crackling through the aqua-helmet's speakers.
"Bite yer tongue, Suzy," Ben Grimm, the ever-lovin' blue-eyed Thing, said. "I love punchin' Nazis."
"I'm picking up power signatures associated with Atlantean technology," Reed Richards said. "We'll need to be careful. They could have capabilities that..."
The whirlpool caught them. Too big, too fast, obviously not natural. The Fantasticar was drawn down in a rush. The Invisible Woman managed to raise invisible bubbles around all four of them before they hit the sea floor, but the Fantastic Four were still jostled badly. Sue hit her head, helmet cracking badly. Water leaked in. She tried to hold her breath as the rest of the Fantastic Four were helpless inside her force bubbles. Some unseen force began to draw them in, toward the impossible Nazi relic.
Sue wasn't sure when her lungs gave out, and the force fields ceased.
She awoke on a bed like a giant golden seashell in a bare metal room. Ankles and wrists chained so that she was spread across the great wet, pink, salty meat beneath. She took quick stock of herself. No obvious injuries, though her head hurt where she'd cracked it against the helmet. At least they'd left her costume on.
Standing before her was a blue-skinned Atlantean.
In an SS uniform. With a fishbowl on his head full of water. Regular Atlanteans, after all, could not breathe air for extended periods. It was obvious to Sue that she must be in an air-filled compartment on the ship.
"At last, Fraulein, you awake," the Atlantean said, in a bad German accent. Like someone who had learned how to Nazi from old film reels. "An Aryan beauty like yourself should be awake to enjoy the pleasures of becoming the mother of a new Atlantean Reich!"
Sue Storm's blue eyes narrowed. As an experiment, she made his belt invisible. It vanished. The villain didn't even notice. That meant she had her powers. The chains were heavy, but didn't appear to be anything other than gold-plated steel or iron. She could escape from this situation with a thought.
But...if I don't... Sue bit her lip. Would it really be cheating if I let a Nazi villain have his way with me? Just a little?
Yes, she decided. Absolutely. But Reed needn't know.
"You'll never get away with this!" Sue said defiantly, because the villain had paused in their monologue and Sue felt the need to say something. It was a good standard line.
"Ah, but fraulein," the Atlantean Nazi chuckled. "Who will stop me?"
How far does Sue Storm let the Atlantean Nazi go before she tries to stop him?
