Chapter 5 by Xenonach Xenonach

Well, mostly about the teacher of that class.

Art Class

Art class was John’s favorite class for a few reasons. For one, a lot of it consisted of drawing or drawing-adjacent activities and John both liked drawing and was quite good at it. That alone would probably have done the trick barring an atrocious teacher, but what elevated art class from ‘merely’ a good class to the indisputable high point of John’s week at Ashcroft every week since he had enrolled was the teacher: June Summers.

She was a friendly teacher with a genuine interest in seeing her students improve and a firm belief in encouragement and positive reinforcement. That alone would have made her classes a pleasure to attend even in a package as gray and wrinkly as Mrs. Flung, but June combined those qualities with being drop dead gorgeous on a level that plastic surgeons the world over could only dream of replicating in their clients.

A face of delicate symmetry framed by bangs of flowing brown left free of her bun, a slim waist over wide hips, a plush, heart shaped derriere, and smooth, squishy looking thighs all contribute to making her body a work of art in itself, but her greatest assets were, without a doubt, her breasts. Globes of men’s hopes and dreams of a size significantly past where gravity was usually very unkind to them, yet June’s showed only that barely perceptible sag that revealed them to be all natural and braless, and otherwise ignored that law of physics. With the cherry on top of her persistently straining the academy dress code’s rules on decent outfits, it was no wonder that she was the wet dream of every student with so much as a sliver of sexual interest in women, boys and girls alike.

So John being there a bit ahead of time, offering June to help out with getting the day’s supplies ready, was in no way out of the ordinary. In fact, the only reason he didn’t have to compete with several other students for getting there first was probably that Vanessa hated the art teacher, and very few people were willing to risk becoming an outcast for a few minutes of June’s attention. John’s best guess for why was that June was the only woman in the school that was indisputably more physically attractive than the head cheerleader herself.

While offering his help, John shot an Observe at the sexy teacher.

June Summers
Lvl 9, Artist
Best Tits in the Game
27 years old
Relationship: 69

John had already started turning towards the cabinets, anticipating a request to fetch something, when a particular detail registered and he did a double take. And also damn near dropped his jaw. 69 RS?!? Sure, he had expected a positive number, but that high? His mind went in about 42 different directions at once trying to figure out how to interpret this, resulting in him getting basically nowhere. In the meantime, June was looking mildly confused at him and asking if he was okay, which was the point where he realized that he should probably interact first and ponder later.

“No, yes, err… You look really good today, June.” John’s mind kicked in and reminded him of the implications of a poor Charisma score and he hastily added, in hopes of not coming off wrong, “More than usual, I mean”

June giggled. “Thank you, John. Could you help me with bringing out the supplies for today’s class? We’re doing charcoal drawings.”

John nodded and threw another Observe at her before turning away, to see how much he had tanked the RS. To his surprise, it had actually increased to 71.

Achievement Unlocked: Smooth as Sandpaper
Bungle the delivery of a compliment and still get a positive result.
Unsurprisingly, you got this one the first time you complimented anyone.
Your next faux pas or social overstepping of boundaries towards that person won’t reduce your Relationship Score with them.

‘Not like it’s my fault my Charisma is too low to not fuck that up,’ John thought to himself as he closed the achievement notification and went for the supply cabinet.

Yes, it is. Or did you think picking dialogue options in Mass Effect would practice your social skills?

John couldn’t really argue against that, so he just glared at the message window, closed it, and fetched those art supplies for June. The rest of the class had started showing up as well, so once John had put stuff up as requested, he took his usual seat and thought for a moment.

While his logic was screaming at him that the RS he had with June was most likely just a case of being her favorite student, with maybe a dash of her just liking people in general, and that it would be foolish beyond compare to think it suggested any sort of sexual possibilities at all, his… well, he would like to be able to just say ‘feelings’ but lust being a feeling was dubious at best and lust was definitely a factor here. In any case, he couldn’t help the growing hope of making reality of what had been the subject of many wet dreams, and even more masturbation fantasies.

With the boon from the Achievement, it occurred to him that the best way to test the waters was to make an expression of interest that was more overt, but still done in a manner that wouldn’t be so crude or base as to be off-putting even if she was receptive. And ideally it would be something that relied as little as possible on his atrocious Charisma. Then he would use Observe to check her Relationship Score, and if it had increased further he would keep pursuing her, while it remaining unchanged would mean he had overstepped a social boundary on her and should stop, but the boon had kept it from ruining anything.

He had just gone on to try to figure out how to express said interest when class began in earnest and the assignment given served him a perfect opportunity on a silver platter. They had been given a fixed medium but the content was free for them to choose as they wished. And it was a medium John was comfortable with too, second only to his computer and drawing tablet.

So what he would do was draw June nude, but in an artful and classy type of composition and pose, rather than smutty and lewd. He’d also put it so her face was obscured so they could both have plausible deniability in case someone else were to see it by some misfortune.

Even without her face, and with him having to fill in a few blanks by imagination, he felt quite confident that she would be able to recognize herself in the drawing. Should she be unexpectedly unable to, he would just have to hope that turning in a nude drawing was still a bold enough move to serve his purpose.

Doing that required some care though, he very much did not want any of his classmates to see what he was drawing. Once it was done and handed over, he trusted that June would make sure no one else saw it, no matter if she was receptive to what he was trying or not. Until then, he would have to be careful. His ingrained habit of picking seats in withdrawn corners, or at least without someone seated behind him, helped there. With a little forethought, he could arrange himself so nobody could see his work without leaving their seats, thus giving him a moment to cover it up.

He also prepared a quick, rough sketch of a vaguely wyvern-y creature to use as a decoy piece if needed. Made in less than 5 minutes, it wouldn’t fool anyone who knew the first thing about his drawing skills. Fortunately, the other students basically only paid attention to him when he was being bullied, or when they were looking to bully him themselves in order to curry favor with Frank or Vanessa. Since neither of those two had shared an art class with him for years, his classmates probably had little idea about his level of skill.

When June clapped to get everyone’s attention near the end of the class, John was surprised. He had been so consumed by drawing, and keeping alert for people leaving their seats and heading in his direction, that he hadn’t really noticed the passage of time.

“Unfortunately, we’re out of time for today, but we will be continuing with this medium for the next few classes as well. If you want to continue on your current work next time, write your name on the back and put it in a pile here,” June indicated one end of her desk, “and if you want to hand it in and start on a new one next time, put your name on the back and put it over here.” She then indicated the other end.

John signed his name, waited for his classmates to put theirs on the desk, then approached June. He thought it was ready to hand in, but instead of just saying so he handed it to her with the backside up. “I think it’s ready to be handed in, but maybe you could take a look and tell me if you agree?”

When June looked back up at him, there was a mischievous glimmer in her eyes. “Nice to see you tap into that fountain of passion in the classroom too… Jeehan.”

“I- you- but- what? how?” Between the horniness and the confusion struggling for control and his blood not exactly being focused in his brain, John had apparently lost the ability to form complete sentences just now. Luckily, June had no trouble figuring out what he meant.

“So you didn’t realize that you’d signed your work,” she responded with a giggle as she turned the drawing towards him, finger indicating a symbol John had designed by mashing up capitalized J, H and N, then tweaking until he thought it looked neat. It was a symbol he used to sign his works, primarily lewd ones, online. He hadn’t even realized that he had added it to this drawing.

As the contest between horny and confused was won by embarassed and John felt his face going hot, June continued, “You put it on two of your pieces for the Fantastical Creatures project last year too”

“Oh…” Embarrassment didn’t really make John better at putting words together than the jumble from before. “Uh…”

“Don’t worry, John, you’re not in any trouble. Quite the opposite, actually. Your work displays a lot of talent, and is clearly very inspired….” She had put her hand on his shoulder in a reassuring gesture. But also a gesture that was more familiar and closer, and placed their bodies closer, than some would consider appropriate between student and teacher. Then again, she had always been relaxed about propriety and professional distancing, like her insistence on being called June instead of Ms. Summers. So could he read anything into it, or was this just June being June? John had no idea.

His efforts to find out what to make of it were further hampered by part of his mind being preoccupied making note of her scent: peach, honey and something he couldn’t identify. Meanwhile, his nethers were unfazed by ambiguity; the thought that ‘maybe’ there was something to read into sufficed to make him hard as diamond. This mix of thoughts and impulses left him blanking on a suitable response long enough for June to continue.

“In fact, I want to nurture that talent and passion of yours-” Damn, that was pretty close to a line from a short student/teacher comic he had made, and made while thinking of June at that. “-so I’d like to offer you some private art lessons. Would you be available this Saturday, perhaps?”

The line hadn’t been verbatim though, the continuation of it hadn’t matched the comic at all and what she had said fit perfectly well into the actual conversation. Was it just a coincidence, and John hearing things he wanted to hear? Regardless, he reflexively answered.

“Yes!” That came out with excessive enthusiasm, and sounded a bit squeaky besides. So John quickly cleared his throat and tried again, “I mean, I would like that. And my Saturday is completely open.”

“Great.” June turned to get a post it note and a pen from her desk, by necessity giving him a great view of her ass in the process. Sure, June’s summer dress wasn’t the most curve-hugging garment as it draped across her rear, but it was short enough that merely leaning back a little would likely put his point of view low enough to see her panties.

Unfortunately, she was finished and standing upright again before he realized that he hadn’t needed the achievement boon for his initial plan, so he could’ve fallen back on that even if she’d caught him in the act and disapproved.

“Here’s my address. How does 10 AM sound? That should give us plenty of time, wherever the muses take us.”

John took the note she held out to him and pocketed it without looking at it. “Yes. That sounds good, I’ll be there.”

A moment passed, just barely long enough for John to wonder if she was expecting him to say anything else, before she nodded towards the wall clock and said, “Now, you should probably head to your next class. Wouldn’t want to be late.”

“Right. Yes. That.” John made to leave, though he cast Observe on her one last time before doing so. He didn’t think the testing of the waters could’ve been a failure, but he did want to see how it had affected his their Relationship Score. 83! it had increased a whole 12 points from that. He wondered passingly if his trying to be bolder had gained him more, or if she found his awkward fumbling endearing and that had been a bigger earner. That line of thought was interrupted by another window behind the Observe.

That was some hefty rewards on the bonus objective, ones John was definitely going to shoot for, but the size of the rewards also told him that completing that objective was going to be a big challenge. Most likely, he wouldn’t be up to the task just by showing up and doing his best; pulling it off would require being well prepared. Thinking about how to prepare would have to wait, though, as he did have another class soon, and and if he wanted to have any chance of being able to concentrate on anything besides his hopes for Saturday, he had to do something else first:
