Apologize to Julia

Heading away from her mother, Dawn calmed her nerves.

"It'll be okay." she told herself, making the short walk over to Julia's room. Standing in front of the door, she took the time to knock. If nothing else, Julia would at least listen. That was the least she could ask for here.

"Dawn?" Julia announced and watched her granddaughter sigh. It was now or never. Taking a moment to compose herself here, she did a quick check in her mind.

"I'm sorry for doubting that you were my aunt." Dawn announced and watched Julia's expression shift.
