Another Self-Enforced Rule

I have to spank myself 10 times before I can fall asleep.

The thought came to her in a haze, while she was dreaming. Kyleigh slept on, unconcerned with the words floating around in her brain.

When she finally woke up, hours later, she smirked at the new notification from Rules to Live By. She had already fallen asleep by the time she had to make the new rule. So she couldn't be held liable, surely. And even if she was liable, how could the prove she hadn't?

Rolling out of bed, she stretched and lazily got ready for her day ahead. She got dressed in her black panties and yoga pants, and completed her outfit with a red sports bra, t-shirt and pullover.

Oh, and how could I forget about... the fucking butt plug? As if.

She chuckled at her thoughts and kept getting ready. Once her bag was packed and ready to go, she looked out her peephole. She believed herself capable of talking her way out of any people checking on her, but she'd prefer not to take the risk. Not seeing anyone, she decided to risk it and run for her car.

Locking the door behind her, she ran down her driveway and fumbled with her car keys.

"Hello stranger!"

Kyleigh released a sigh of annoyance as she put a falsely cheery smile on her face and turned around.

"Hello Mr. Simmons!"

It was her next door neighbor. He had just opened his door to water the flowers in his garden. Kyleigh had lived next to the man for years, and knew he was a deeply devoted husband to his wife and didn't have much personality aside from that.

"What are you doing, rushing out of your house like that? You could'a fell and hurt yourself!"

"Oh, I'm just going to meet with my friends. They're all waiting for me," Kyleigh said as she looked around. No one else seemed to be approaching...

"Oh, well, I won't keep ya, darling. Just so long as you've been following those rules of yours. Got that plug in nice and snug?" He asked airily.

Kyleigh's smile wavered for a second before it grew even larger and faker.

"Oh, here's the thing Mr. Simmons! I recently had to change to a vibrating one, and I just haven't had a chance to go get one! Surely you couldn't get me in trouble for something like that?"

"And your spankings?"

Kyleigh put her hands to her slightly rosy cheeks.

"Well, it was the most unfortunate thing! I was already asleep when I made the new rule. I'm terribly sorry to cause such trouble."

"Oh, I get it, I get it. I'm not gonna make you take the fall when it's not your fault, girlie. But maybe you could listen to an old fool's advice?"

Kyleigh breathed a sigh of relief and a sigh of frustration at the same time.

"I guess I've got a minute."

"Well, with regards to that plug o' yours, I reckon you can find one at that sex store bout' a mile and a half from the school. It's on the way if you take a right on that road over there instead'a going straight," he said, turning and pointing a ways away. "And fer the future, you'd best be staying up 'til midnight to follow those new rules o' yours."

Kyleigh waved as she quickly got in her car. "Thanks for the advice!"

"Anytime! And say hi to your-"

Kyleigh shut the door before he could finish.

"Bastard."
