Annita takes Hamza's suggestion

Approaching the mosque, Annita let out a deep breath. This was it. Once Delia found out, she was bound to kick her out. Thankfully, the elderly lady had gone through the trouble of scheduling what little stuff she had to be moved too Hamza's home.

"Are you ready, Anisa?" Hamza inquired and Annita nodded. As part of the shahada, she had decided to change her name. While they would need to go somewhere else to do that, it was a small formality to distance herself away from Delia.

Entering the mosque, Anisa took a moment to compose herself. Heading to the female section of the mosque, time was taken to look around for the person who would help with the shahada. Thankfully, she didn't have to go far to find them. An elderly man, he was dressed modestly for this occasion.

"Repeat after me. I bear witness that there is no god but God, and I bear witness that Muhammad is the messenger of God." the man announced and Anisa nodded.

"I bear witness that there is no god but God, and I bear witness that Muhammad is the messenger of God." Anisa answered and felt a wave of relief rush over her. Looking in Hamza's direction, she was met with a smile.

Heading his way, Anisa's walk was elderly yet pious.

"I'm so proud of you." Hamza whispered and held his girlfriend close. Things were looking up for them...
