Looking up, I immediately recognised the perfect example of beauty as my flatmate.

Annie: [first_name} ! Oh my god, I forgot you work here.

Jake: Well, I would call what he does work...

Annie: Feels like ages since I have seen you properly. I mean, I know we live together, but life's been busy.

Me: yeah been a crazy couple of weeks for everyone. Anyway, what are you doing here?

Annie: Trying to get rid of me already?

Me: No, no, sorry, I mean, why did you come upstairs to the men's section if you didn't know I worked here

I gave Jake a light punch. He didn't know about the night of mistaken identity, but he certainly knew how hot I thought Annie was. Hell, I'm pretty sure everyone thought she was. Either way, I knew he wanted to make this as excruciating as possible for me; luckily, another customer wanted to buy something, so he had to go and sort them out.

The way she said that gave me pause for thought; was she referring to Jake's sex life? Despite being arguably best friends with him for a while now, he was very scant on the details of any sexual encounters he may have had.
