Who is the first time be hunted?
Agnissa Amelitta
Agnissa was a young member of her order and, as such, was eager to prove herself. She pushed deeper into the swamps than was safe to do as she was far away from the aid of her sisters, but she was by no means helpless as she kept a primitive by imperium standards but effective chainsword in one hand while a torch in the other.
Agnissa did not have the true battle armor of a battle sister, as her world did not have the technology or the infracture for such equipment. So she was only equipped with a regular steel-platted corset and armored boots for armor instead of a battle suit with servos to augment her body. Though, like any true battle sister, she had a true blood thirst to make her threat without such advanced armor.
Agnissa was finding her hopes growing dimmer as she was reaching the end of where she could patrol in the swamp, where once she reached she would have to turn back and join her follow sisters at the rally point before heading back to their coven's nearby outpost. Her hope had been to find something in the swamps to probably bloody her and earn her the title of true warrior of the faith.
Sadily though she had yet to find anything yet, merely a few bigger fish in the water, as it seemed anything bigger that could threaten her in the swamps was avoiding her. So she once again was without an opportunity to prove herself, which was not surprising, as with the corrupters long dead, no threat to man had dared show their face in the world, and no one on planet had dared to practice heresy either.
So Agnissa found herself reaching the end of where she could reliably patrol and still make it back to the rally point on time. Just as she turned on her heel and was about to walk back, Jollus struck. Coming out of the murky green swamp water, he leaped at her, bringing his fishing spear forward to pierce her in one swift blow.
Luckily for Agnissa, her years of training saved her life; she was able to get her chainsword up in front of her in time to party the spear thrust and counter with a swing of her own. Jollus spun around easily, dodging the telegraphed swing with his years of experience. The two had gained some distance and were looking each other over.
Agnissa, after her careful examination of Jollus, decided that he must have been a heretic; for what other reason would a man of the swamp attack a battle sister? "It would seem you have eared this day heretic as I am battle sister and not some way word traveler, but by the throne you wouldn't live long enough to regret that mistake." Agnissa said with a viscous snarl.
Jollus didn't reply; he merely got into a stance with his rather sharp fishing spear at the ready. Agnissa charged at his silence response, finding it a dismissal of her as a threat and needing to remedy that by showing how wrong it was when she cut him down with her chainsword. Agnissa brought the chainsword down at Jollus, trying to cut him in half with it.
He kept sidestepping her wide telegraphed swings using his knowledge of how the planet's local battle sister used the chainsword to his advantage. This angered Agnissa that this swamp man could handle her so well, and her anger blinded her, not seeing that Jollus was leading her into a trap. Which she soon sprung as she took another large swing with her chainsword. She found her right foot caught in roots, throwing off her balance and leaving her ****.
Jollus, seeing her vulnerability, pounced, but before he could give her a fatal blow, he heard the whispers of the dead Lizardkin, the once who had given him the gift that had allowed him to follow the sister of battle while remaining in the water. It was again telling him she was needed alive. So mid-swing he changed the direction of his thrust, causing him to miss her completely but allowing him to bring his spear around for a blow to the side of the head, knocking her out.
Jollus double-checked to make sure he hasn't done more damage than intended, as he needed her alive now. Luckily he hadn't caused any internal head injury, so with her now ****, he threw her over his shoulder and grabbed her chainsword. He then began making his way to his canoe, which he had hidden nearby.
Once he had her in the canoe, he began to tie her up with his fishing nets, which he didn't use all that much, just having them in case he needed them but prefaring to use his spear to fish. Though now he needed them, granted, he didn't think he needed them for what he was using them for right now.
He also gagged her with some clothes he ripped off his tags in case she woke up early and tried to call her sisters before he had her safely stowed away. So that was how he went paddling down the swamp in his canoe with a tied-up and gagged battle sister, wondering how exactly he could find redemption for genocide by taking one back to his idol at his cabin home and why the idol wanted her to begin with.
What does the idol want?
The anti god emperor warhammer 40k
And you thought the humans had it rough before
