Accept the gold

"Gold would do nicely," you say with a grin.

"Well, get me untied and over to a guard post and we can see about getting you that reward."

You scramble over to the bed, untying her restraints and throwing the ropes to the side. She sits up, rubbing her ankle and wrist. Once she has recovered sufficient strength, the two of you walk to the nearest posting of the royal guard - once there she enters alone and you wait outside.

A few moments later, she walks out holding a canvas bag full of golden dragons.

A hand-off and a wave good-bye later, she is mounted up and headed for King's Landing and you are carrying your gold back home.

A few weeks later, as you step outside of your hut, you are attacked by a few bandits. They knock you out, and whilst you are ****, they steal everything you own; all the gold dragons you received from the queen, all your tools, and all your remaining foodstuffs.
