Chapter 4 by Arc-Spider Man Arc-Spider Man

Who has this power?

A reincarnation takeover

A young masculine voice groaned in irritation as he started to awake. Rolling over to return to his dreams, he felt a slight itch as his skin brushed against something. Forcing his eyes open he found himself laying on a bed of grass with trees all around.

"What the hell..."

Shrugging off the drowsiness and raising the upper half of his body to survey the quer surroundings. What is he doing in a forest? He should be in bed right? No.That isn't right, either.

"What was I doing earlier anyway? The last thing I remember..."

Memories flashed through his head feeling like a hammer to the skull as a good many of them felt unfamiliar and distant, recent and old, fake and real. He fell back grasping his head in pain. As the pain subsided he noticed how odd his hands felt and the hair felt longer, spikier. His hands felt calloused but also smaller, like a young child who did strenuous yard or farm work where he was from.

Wait. Where he is from? A small area in the country? Yeah. That sounded right. But why did it also feel conflicting? He recalled something about a large red creature but couldn't fully form the memory. Shaking his head as he stood up straight, he looked down at his hands and realized how little they seemed. He also noticed he was shirtless with only a white scale-patterned scarf with tattered brown grass shorts.

"Wha-Wasn't I wearing jeans and a red shirt?! Hold on... I remember. I was walking beside the road after I... read the latest book for Fairy Tail: 100 Year Quest. Why was I doing that again? Then I heard screeching and I felt like I was hit by... and then everything went black. Did I die?"

He started to pace back and forth before noticing the area darken a bit. Looking up he beared witness to the clouds starting to darken and the start of sprinkling. He took note of a small pond to his left and ran over to get a good look at himself. Taking a gander into the reflective surface, he discovered a small pink haired child staring back.

"!"

He recognized the character he found himself face-to-face with.

"This is... Natsu? I am Natsu. How... is this an Isekai? I've read and heard so many stories about it that I easily recognize the situation but it is certainly different actually experiencing such a thing."

"Is this the work of Truck-kun?" He asked sarcastically, acknowledging the name that all anime fans mention when discussing an isekai protagonist. He felt his face a bit more before slapping both of his cheeks. "This isn't important right now, I can think on this later, but for now I have to get out of here."

If he remembered correctly, this is when Makarov finds Natsu alone in the forest when he felt some magic in the nearby woods. He's pretty confident of this since he just recently binged through Fairy Tail, at least that is what he recalled doing. Markov found him alone and sad when it had started to rain so pretty soon. The question is, does he want to meet him right now? He doesn't think their meeting will go the same as in the story since he is not sad about Igneel seemingly abandoning him alone in the woods. He seriously doubts the old man wouldn't feel off about him as he is a child who appeared out of nowhere and seemingly not distressed at the disappearance of my parental figure.

"What to do?"

...

He sighed, walking his way towards the Eastern exit of the forest. It had already begun to rain as he trudged his way through the trees. Deciding it would be best to try anyways since he doesn't really know where else to go, especially as he was now. It also occurred to him that he can vaguely feel what Natsu was feeling before apparently taking his body. If he focused on them enough he may just convince Makarov that he was sadder than he truly was.

He also needs jewels in order to pay for stuff and does not think he could get many jobs as a bright haired orphan claiming to have Fire Dragon Slaying magic and NOT bring tons of attention or a reputation his way. Makarov could probably find out he was the cause of that magic he felt and ask him to join Fairy Tail anyways. Or worse, question him in a sneaky probing way that older anime characters always did. Best to get some small jobs at the Guild so he can handle surviving then worry about the details of my other worldly possession.

He stopped as his newly enhanced hearing picks up small footsteps ahead. Okay time to improvise. He just hoped that this works as he didn't want to throw off the timeline to much. As the steps grew closer he shut his eyes and focused on Natsu's emotions, drawing from the back of mind and soul and found tears trickling at the edge of his eyes feeling his knees hit the ground as if daggers had speared through his heart and confusion swirled in his brain.

It didn't take long before short figure stood before him with an outstretched rough, wrinkly old hand. Turning his gaze upwards and seeing the face of the Guildmaster of Fairy Tail, Makarov Dreyar.

...

It occurs to him that he may have been overly cautious about this interaction but he didn't want to accidently change something before he got my bearings. Following behind the old mage he studied the new outfit comfortable over his body. The new clothes consisted of a red button up long-sleeved shirt, brownish orange shorts with dark colored pockets on both short legs, and some dark brown shoes to finish it off.

"I guess Makarov bought these for OG Natsu as well since I don't remember him meeting the guild in rags. Makes since he would buy me these if he felt bad for a kid being out there in the woods with nothing. Probably thinks my parents ditched me or something."

He could see the Guild hall in the distance as he thought about how he was going to approach this meeting. Did he want to make a good first impression? If so, then who with? Could he catch one of the girls attention?

It should come as no surprise that this thought crossed his mind given how gorgeous every girl in Fairy Tail is. It was every weeb's fantasy to be with their waifu and Fairy Tail had plenty that got some less than wholesome thoughts runing. He stopped in his tracks as he has an epiphany.

Why not get all of them?

If he is a part of this world now, why can't he enjoy every fantasy he has ever had with some of the hottest girls he has seen in an anime? He felt his face warm as the thoughts of what was originally physically unobtainable started to seem more and more feasible. But then frowned as a crushing reality settled on him.

'There is no way any of them would agree to that. Even if I could get some of them, one's like Erza are still hung up on Jellal and would only see me as a little brother.'

He let out a frustrated sigh as the lewd dreams crashed and burned before they even began. Fate truly is cruel no matter the universe. He could try his best and see if he could get any results but he doubted his chances of success in winning over so many girls' hearts and bodies. He suddenly perked up.

'Isn't this a magical world with many types of spells and powers? Who is to say there aren't any that could help him achieve what he desired?' These thoughts came as he scrambled his brain for any magic that had effects that could change someone or bend them to his will.

"Are you alright, Natsu?"

He snapped his head up finding the gaze returned by Makarov who seemed a little confused that his stride randomly halted. The younger boy blinked before smiling and unconsciously rubbing the back of his head.

"No, no, no! I'm fine. I just got really excited at the thought of meeting everyone at the guild. I didn't really grow up around many other people you see?"

It was somewhat true. As far as 'Natsu' could tell he grew up with only Igneel around having forgot the other Dragon Slayers after the time travel and his biological family even before that. Makarov smiled softly both in joy at another child joining his family but also in mild sadness, maybe finding his story rather sad for such a small child.

"Ah, makes sense. Well I'm sure you'll love it here. At Fairy Tail we take care of all our members like one of our own." He smiled brighter at the end of his sentence.

Simply nodding back, they continued till we were right underneath the sign of the Guild Hall with "FAIRY TAIL" spelled out in all bold lettering right above them. Remembering Natsu's flashback he asked the question that best fit the scene.

"Why Fairy Tail?" Feigning ignorance to the knowledge.

"Well no one knows for sure if Fairies have tails or if they even exist, so it will always be a mystery. Although it could make for a fun adventure if we ever wanted to find out."

He was quiet for a moment before deciding to change the response.

"So, the fun idea of chasing something unknown being a great adventure is what inspired the name?" The fake Natsu looked to Makarov when he smiled brightly and nodded his head in pride at the guild name. Of course he didn't name the guild but he probably likes the idea of this being the meaning to it.

He took a deep breath preparing exactly what he wanted to say before going in.

...

Falling back onto the white sheets of the bed, his mind wandered. He is within the orphanage run by the church. The one that Cana showed Wendy in the future. Makarov said Natsu could stay here until he make enough jewels to get his own place. Groaning, he recalled how everything went pretty much the same as the original story minus him asking Erza to practice with me rather than getting her to beat him up.

That had been a mistake almost as bad as the original Natsu's attitude had caused.

She beat the hell out of him with him only managing to scratch her younger self's armor. Seems the power gap between Natsu and Erza wasn't as overhyped as he had thought it was when he read the series. Well, when they were kids at least. He was surprised how effective he was. With his intel on Erza and Natsu's trained body he actually did better than OG Natsu would have at this point.

Shaking his head he decided to focus on what he wanted to do now. If he left, the story fell before it even started. He knew that Fairy Tail and many other would die without Natsu there. Plus that included the world possibly being destroyed so unless he wanted to bet on himself getting reincarnated a second time, he shouldn't just abandon the story. He also couldn't remember much of his personal life from before he reincarnated no matter how hard he tried, like something was pushing that back. Weirdly enough he remembered his manga, anime, and novels just fine.

"Well, at least I won't be distracted by memories of my old life and be depressed about it. Maybe it is better this way?"

Why did he end up here? Was there a reason for this or was some higher being just bored? How did he move forward?

He could just decide what he wanted to do for himself here and build around that.

"I had already decided I want to indulge in all the fantasies I had about the women in the Fairy Tail series. Having to save the world is a side effect of me wanting to enjoy this life." Studying magic for real could be fun since he didn't have that in his old world. First step was to make jewels and second would be to obtain magic that would help him get what he wanted. He smiled as he remembered what he had discovered in his small fight with Erza.

Giving a quick glance around to make sure none of the other kids were around he turned his stare to his hand he smiled before holding out in front of his face.

"Memory-Make: Requip!"

As he felt the magic burst forward from his body a sword appeared in his hand after a few moment of delay. When he challenged Erza he had found out he could replicate her magic from memory just like that one forgettable character from the Grand Magic Games way in the future. He had done it by accident when he blocked her attack by throwing flames all around where she slashed and pulled her sword from her grip and stored it with his own Requip. She had been confused much like himself. Had she been more experienced she could have recognized the magic of Requip and protected from it but she was still young and lacked the experience of her future self so she assumed he had eviscerated her weapon with his flames which caused her to get more serious, leading to the beatdown he suffered.

The utility that Requip has is incredible. Even though he doubts he could ever switch between armors and weapons as quickly as Erza, he could still store so much equipment instead of carrying. He had briefly wondered how he had Memory-Make magic in Natsu's body before he recalled the definition of magic in Fairy Tail lore.

It is the expression of ones spirit when formed in the physical body. Natsu's spirit and body had already been accustomed to Fire Dragon Slayer magic but when HE appeared in this body his spirit was more suited to Memory-Make, which made sense as he both knew about the magic before he reincarnated and it suits him from all the stories he memorized. This all gave him much more to work with further in the future.

He Requipped the sword back into his pocket dimension and scooted underneath the sheets of his bed. He had a job tomorrow going North of Magnolia called Onibus, a request from some old retired Rune Knight asking for assistance with chores or some other menial work. The young boy considered seeing about learning some magic during his job in the town as he drifted off to sleep.

...

"I feel even worse for Dragon Slayers after experienc- hggh!-ing this" he bit back the bile that threatened to spew from his throat. "This feels so much worse than they made it look in the show or manga. I'll need to find something, anything to get rid of this motion sickness."

"Attention passengers, we have arrived at our next destination. Welcome to Onibus!"

Wiping his mouth before pulling himself away from the train window and made his way to the exit. Stepping off onto the platform he breathed a sigh of relief as his stomach settled down now that he was off that **** trap.

Pulling out the piece of paper he familiarized himself with its contents but wanted to be sure of where he was going. The old guy works at the theater after retiring from being a Rune Knight about a year ago.

"Maybe I can memorize his magic if he shows me some. The spells those Rune Knights use are actually good it's just that they always try to use them on foes stronger than themselves."

'Natsu B' made his way to the house next to the theatre, double checking the address, then knocked on the door as he shuffled his small brown sack. There was a brief silence before he heard some distant noise making it's way to the door then the sound of a door lock coming undone. As the door swung open he was greeted to the sight of a surprisingly fit and sweaty old man dressed only in plain white pants with a slightly annoyed look on his lightly wrinkles face. The pants were similar to the ones people all over Fairy Tail wore but more lazily tied. This old guy looked like Geralt from The Witcher.

Natsu's face reflexively scrunched up as he picked up a slight stench originated from the old man but not any scent he could remember smelling beforehand.

"Who are 'ya?' The slightly annoyed old man asked impatiently. Natsu quickly shook the smell from his mind and held up the paper.

"I'm from Fairy Tail. Are you Ijo? You sent a request to Fairy Tail for assistance in menial tasks to do with he theatre you are in charge of?"

Recognition flashed across his face before glancing over him again seemingly... Disappointed?

"Yes that's me. You guys are the closest guild and you're cheaper than a whole clean up crew." He sighed while briefly closing his eyes. "Was hoping they sent that hot green headed gunslinger here."

The old man, now confirmed to be Ijo, whispered that last part under his breath but his enhanced Dragonslayer ears picked up on it. He couldn't blame the old man, Fairy Tail has tons of hotties and certainly would have been great eye candy to watch work. Instead, he got a pink haired child.

Not nearly as appealing.

Natsu was about to reply before he noticed a very hot woman come down the stairs. She had a sort of erotic housewife look about her with light brown hair tied into a ponytail with a few locks framing her pretty face, bright hazel eyes, a normal light green shirt that didn't hide the frame of her rather large breasts, tight blue jeans that hugged her wide hips, and a simple pair of beige sandals on her feet. Though, one detail that was unusual about her was that she seemed winded which pushed her breasts out with every breath she took. She seemed flustered and in a hurry to leave.

She muttered a small apology as she squeezed past them both to leave when Natsu noticed two more things about her. Her smell matches this old man's and she had a silver wedding band on her left ring finger. He turned his eyes to Ijo's left hand.

No ring.

"This old guy... That woman... that married woman"

Ijo stopped her from leaving right before she got out of reach by grabbing her hand and pulling into him, slamming their lips together. This surprised her briefly before she gave in as his hand slipped from her waist to her plump mailable ass, massaging it as he mixed tongue into his kiss earning a moan in response.

As he pulled away, leaving a trail of saliva between them before wiping it away, he whispered for her to 'return tomorrow, same time as today'. She turned away still panting for air and pretending to begrudgingly give into his demand but Natsu could smell what he now believed was arousal emitting from her. And the smirk on Ijo's face hinted at his awareness of this fact as well.

While she left Ijo turned to him acting as if he did nothing strange. "Alright, I'll go change them I'll show you what you will be doing for the next 2 weeks." The pink haired boy nodded as he leaned against the frame of the door, waiting for the old man to return.

Ijo came back in some pretty average clothes wearing the same pants but this time with a tight black shirt and black shoes. They then went a few houses down towards the large theatre in the center of the town, which still seemed to need some painting done.

As they stopped in front of the building Natsu noticed Ijo's gaze stray to some women loitering in front of the theater before turning his gaze back to the entrance. He could smell a musk coming from him suggesting that he had gotten aroused from the site of them. Though he certainly couldn't be blamed as it seemed there was an unnatural amount of beautiful women in this town for some reason. His temporary employer seemed to notice the young boy following his gaze and shifted focus to him.

"They look great don't they?"

Natsu was a bit surprised he addressed him but turned back to all the attractive women walking around town. "Beautiful." Was his comment as he tried to see what Ijo was getting at. He shrugged absently.

"I'm surprised you can 'take in the sights', so to speak. You are pretty young but I also saw you staring at my... friend back at the house."

That caused Natsu to grimace but Ijo smiled.

"A word of advice. Learn to hide the way you look at them unless you want to be labeled the local perv. Most women don't appreciate being stared at. Well... at first, at least."

The pink haired boy was motioned to follow him inside which he did mulling over the sudden advice. As they past the seats to the back of the stage there were many packed boxes sat seemingly for quite a while.

"Here is what you will be dealing with for the next two weeks." Ijo said wearing a more serious expression as opposed to earlier. "Your job is to help any of the other assistants with their work, move boxes, organize props, etc. The others will be here soon."

What happens next?
