Chapter 21

Where do you get help?
A light, to weed out the darkness
Being so close to **** was a new and not in the least bit thrilling experience for you, especially given that it had happened because Joan was once again trying to get in your pants. That she nearly succeeded wasn't really the point here. You returned to the Drez with her, frustrated and determined to find a way to get back in there and resolve this once and for all. You know who you're looking for, but not where to find them.
"Joan" You begin "what does the Guilded City have in terms of faith?"
"Nothing you wouldn't expect in other large cities" she replied "The Phoenicians have a congregation here. The Brothers of the Last Wish were started here. The Disciples of the Watch, who obey Mastro, have a few members as well. Most are interspersed with the various mercenary guilds, serving as Chaplains or the like. Why? Looking to convert your heathen ways?"
"Stop," You reply "Paladins of most orders are supposed to drive off the wicked and unclean, yes? If we would get ayone to take care of Draugr, it would be them, wouldn't it?"
"Right you are Silve. Good to see that you actually learned something from that ivory tower. If that's the sort you're looking for, than Mastro's cult is the way to go. I would just be careful, if I were you."
"Why's that?"
"They're fanatical. If they find out your girlfriend is actually the princess who you kidnapped, it'll be as bad as having the Prince himself after you."
"Good to know." You reply "we just need them for this job, so that shouldn't be a problem"
"We'll see" Joan responded vaguely "at any rate, I think we should be able to find someone this way"
Joan the rogue leads you through the maze of the city and the crowded markets. It's an impressive sight really, with so many different sorts of people and races seemingly working together. Eventually, you arrive at a diamond shaped building, that upon entering through the arched doorways, looks to be a mock arena. There's at least a dozen of participants here, either in pairs or small groups practicing and training. Any of them could have been useful in helping you out, but Joan leaped forward and singled one out in particular.
"Sir Knight!" She called out, gaining his attention from his parrying exercise. Removing his helmet, you find quite the handsome gentleman, which may explain some things, "Sir Knight, I could use your help, and I believe we know each other"

"Yes, I remember you" He said annoyingly "You're the Drow thief I caught some time ago stealing from the Ranch Guild."
"Guilty as charged. I've repented and seen the error of my ways. I'm an altruist in every sense of the word."
"Are you now" He replied, unconvinced "than what do you need of me?"
"My friend Silve here and I are in a bit of a pickle. We promised someone that we would recover some rare treasure in exchange for teaching his girlfriend how to become a wizard, but the cavern is completely swarmed with Draugr."
"Interesting" he replied. "Strange that there would be undead of any sort residing so close to Drez. With the folks this place attracts, one would think they would be dispatched."
"Does that mean you're helping?" You ask.
"Yes, Master Dwarf, I'll help. On one condition."
"Yes?"
"I would like to speak to your girlfriend personally. To ensure that everything is above board. I'm sure that you can forgive me for being a little suspicious."
How does the conversation go?
