A Surprise Visit

Those are black market so sneaking them into town is worth more points per item. Of course if the Sheriff decides to investigate your shipment and finds those goods though, it'll cost you. The thing there though is if he searches your shipment and you have been totally honest, then the sheriff loses points..."

Jade sat at the kitchen table with Gerald and Jessica as she continued explaining the rules of Sherriff of Nottingham in case they decided to play it later. When Gerald and Jade got out of bed and dressed they headed to the kitchen as they heard and smelled a breakfast being cooked by Jessica who seemed almost as happy as the freshly fucked couple of lovebirds that had spent all night cuddling together. After finishing her plate, Jade began to get up and start gathering the plates but Jessica quickly snatched the small stack from her hands and put them in front of her brother. "Wow, you really haven't done a sleepover before have you? You are the guest and we are the hosts. It's our job to serve you and it's your job to tell us what you would like so we can flex our big, strong niceness muscles. I cooked, Gerald cleans. If you really feel the need to thank him for it, after your show last night I am sure you can figure out one or two ways that he might like."

Jade started stammering and looked down blushing brightly and it was clear that while she was feeling more comfortable around the two, her timidity was still there. It looked like she was a bit put off by Jessica's joke so she sat next down next to Jade and put an arm around her in an attempt to be consoling. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't tease. I just forget sometimes that someone as fun to be around and beautiful as you can get so down on yourself at times. Especially considering how me and my brother are." Jade looked at her a little confused, "I guess it's a little embarrassing to admit but when I was helping you out with your, 'situation' last night before everything got started with Gerald, I kind of got a little turned on. You remember what I did while you and Gerald were, you know."

It took the girl a few seconds of thinking to remember. As it was going on Jade's mind hadn't been very active so recalling specific aspects was kind of difficult. But her mind was able eventually recall the sight. The vision of a nude Jessica watching her and Gerald while riding up and down on a fake penis attached to the floor worked it's way into Jade's memory. She blushed all over again and glanced slightly in Jessica's direction but Jessica sighed, "If anything here, I should be the one that's embarrassed what with being such a degenerate perv and all."

Jade wasn't entirely sure about that but didn't want to argue. Attempting to make conversation she replied to Jessica, "Are you really umm, one of those?"

To her surprise Jessica took the question seriously. It was meant as a joke but her friend leaned back in her chair thinking for a second before shrugging her shoulder, "Probably a little. I mean normal girls don't actually get off to their brother's sex lives do they?". She leaned in a little closer and whispered, "On the other hand he's gorgeous isn't he? Anyway though, so if we're merchant's trying to smuggle illegal goods into town..."

Jessica was interrupted by a sudden knock on the door of their apartment. Jade looked like she might forget about her embarrassment a little as Jessica turned the conversation back to the board games but as the possibility of more people entering the house presented itself, the totally shy and reserved version of Jade started to come out. Neither Gerald nor Jessica were able to make it to the door before it opened up and their mother came through smiling brightly, "Where's my special girl? There she is!" She smiled brightly as she walked over to Jessica and gave her a big warm hug that lasted well over five seconds at which point Jessica reminded her that Gerald was here too. "Oh, right, right. She said letting go of Jade long enough to politely tap her son on the shoulder as he stood at the sink scrubbing a dirty pan.

She looked back at Jessica immediately, "I am so sorry for just bursting into your apartment like this it's just that I've been so missing you. I know it's only been two days but I just couldn't stay away. I just kept thinking about the new outfits I bought and you were absolutely right, I needed to show off a little more. Then the outfits you bought your brother look so good I decided I needed to see about refreshing this guy's look too. " She pointed back to her husband who had already walked in and closed the door behind her. "The stuff you brought your brother looks so good on him that I thought I would look over it and buy something similar for Harold.

Jessica had to **** back a laugh at that and it was apparent the groupie thing had gotten to mom. Since Jessica hadn't done a good job of answering the increased number of tweets that she had been sending lately she apparently decided to take matters into her own hands. The terrible excuse she pulled out of her ass was just special though, "But mom, you haven't even seen any of his outfits yet. How would you know how good they look? And aren't you supposed to be at work today?"

While Jessica thought she might have found an answer that would stymie her mother, apparently she wasn't slowed for more than a half second. "I don't need to, I know you've got great taste. And let's be honest, I'm not as good at my job as I know you're going to be when you graduate. Heck, you'd probably already outdo me if you tried. But the main thing is I missed my children so much that I just had to take the day off to come for a visit. We've spent so little time since you went off to college, you really need to come by to visit us more." Jessica decided to humor her mother feeling it would give her the perfect opportunity to check for a Random Remote upgrade. She grabbed her bag as nonchalantly as she could and asked Gerald if it was okay to let mom go through the new clothes. He said it was fine as Harold sat down at the table with his son and Gerald introduced him to Jade.

Sarah spoke up a storm, rambling on a lot about how happy she was to be here and how much she missed her daughter but to a large extent Jessica tuned it out. She wasn't sure how long her mom planned to stick around but wanted to check her status quickly just in case they left early. While Sarah went through the clothes and wasn't looking at Jessica, she took a quick second to lock onto her mother with the Random Remote. Turns out she wasn't ready to advance yet. A little disappointed Jessica put it away and let her mom continue while trying to think of a way to isolate her father to do the same. With a little thinking she got an idea, "Oh, I am so glad you came today now that I think about it. Do you mind if I borrow dad for a little bit today?"

On one hand Sarah didn't like the idea that Jessica wanted help from her father instead of her. But on the other hand Sarah had made him come down here so at least she got to be somewhat useful to her daughter which was somehow very important to her the last couple of days. Smiling warmly at Jessica she sighed, "take him for as long as you need sweetie." While this could get annoying, so far Jessica was mostly amused by her mother's sudden fawning so she decided to encourage it a little by giving the woman a quick daughterly kiss on the cheek before thanking her and heading to the living room.

As she got there she took a moment to see how Jade was dealing with their dad and it wasn't great as her shyness was apparent. On the other hand it wasn't nearly as bad as she expected. While she still seemed to be quiet and very reserved, she wasn't constantly looking down and shuffling her feet. Her chair seemed to be a little closer to Gerald and that made Jessica smile. Maybe she was beginning to believe Gerald liked her and was feeling a little safer around him. He really was becoming like her big ol' comfort-endowing teddy bear. It was cute. She also took a moment to notice her dad a little bit. Maybe it was a little bit of confirmation bias but she swore he looked a little shorter, his muscles were less defined, and the hair on his head looked a little longer than she remembered. One obvious thing though, the stubble he almost always had around his chin was gone. It was a bunch of small changes but the changes definitely seemed to be building.

She walked up to the table and gave her dad a light tap on the shoulder, "You know a thing or two about plumbing right?

Harold smiled sardonically as Jessica asked him the obviously rhetorical question, "No, not at all," he answered with obvious sarcasm. After about ten seconds he sighed, "Then again in the past 25 years of installing sinks, toilets, and showers I may have picked up a thing or to. Do you need any help with something?"

"Join me in the bathroom please," she said in a tone of voice that was a little flat as she deliberately made it sound more like an order than a request. Her dad immediately stood up and followed her. She stepped aside to let him further in and pointed at the toilet.

"A little while ago I was fumbling around on the internet and saw something a bit interesting and it got me curious. Do you think there's a chance you could install some sort of bidet in here? Obviously the lease wouldn't let you put in a whole new appliance but I saw that there are little things you can hook up to the pipes already on your toilet. Then you press a little button and it'll squirt you clean down there."

Harold nodded his head as his daughter explained, "I'm familiar with them. Haven't done a ton of them but I have added a couple at the request of a buyer when we were wrapping up a build. So you would like me to toss one of those in for you?" He sighed as he bent down to get a little bit of a closer look and began reaching around the underside of the toilet and while he was distracted Jessica took her chance. She reached pointed the remote at her father, pressed the button, and put it back into her bag as quick and silently as she could. "Yeah, I think I can work something out. Any preference on style or brand or anything?"

Jessica shrugged her shoulders, "I'll leave that to you, you're the expert."

"The screws under the toilet seat are also getting a little old and beaten up. Maybe I'll replace those too as long as I'm down there."

Jessica smiled, "You sure that's not too much work?"

Harold just looked at the toilet, "Nah, it's 30 seconds worth of work and 20 cents worth of materials. I think I can manage."

Jessica just reached over and hugged her dad. "Thanks. You don't need to do it today though. Just go home, grab whatever tools you need, and come back tomorrow after buying whatever you need from the hardware store." Since they were relatively alone Jessica did very little to disguise the fact that she was telling him what to do. Harold didn't really care for the idea that his daughter was using that tone of voice with him. Or at least he shouldn't. But for some reason as she told him what to do, all he could do was nod and agree while actually finding some sort of enjoyment from doing as he was told. Weirder still he noticed that pleasure had been a common thing lately but he didn't waste time thinking about it too much. Maybe he was just getting older and sick of arguing. Because of that he also didn't complain when Jessica kind of rudely asked him to leave the toilet so she could make use of the facilities. When her dad left and closed the door Jessica reached out the Random Remote and took a look. He had a second stage and she happily pressed the button:

ALL ABOARD THE TRANS TRAIN

Target will begin to develop bodily figure fully associated with the opposite of their current sex however genitals will remain the same. Target will prefer a name, pronouns, and clothing associated with the opposite sex. Being identified as preferred identity will cause target increased sexual arousal.

Not really anything that would help them get their father into bed any time in the near future but it did provide Jessica and her brother Gerald with a chance to get their dad worked up, though Gerald would be doing it without realizing it.

She put the remote away and decided to see what her mother was up to. She had apparently laid out a lot of her brother's clothes on the bed and was using her cellphone to take some pictures so she could buy the same thing for her husband later. She knew she would be proven right as she looked them over, Jessica had such wonderful taste in clothes. As she approached though Jessica grabbed the cell out of her mom's hands and turned it off, "sorry, but I wouldn't want you to waste your money on clothes like this for dad. I don't think that's his style. Haven't you noticed?"

Sarah wanted to complain about having her cell phone snatched away like that but couldn't bring herself to be too upset over anything her daughter did. She just put out her hand waited to be given it back. "Noticed what?"

Jessica walked over and closed the door trying to make a show of being discreet. "Haven't you noticed how quiet and reserved he's been lately? How he's kind of been a lot more passive? That a few of his more masculine features aren't as masculine as they used to be. I think he might be umm, how do I say it? I think dad might want to stop being our dad. I think she might want to be our second mom." As Jessica said that it came completely out of nowhere as far as Sarah was concerned so even with her need to follow Jessica she couldn't dismiss all of her skepticism. But the fangirl in her couldn't dismiss Jessica's theory either.

"You think Harold might be trans?"

Jessica just nodded, "It's not like something I'm absolutely certain of, but I think it might be possible."

While she still didn't believe it she didn't want to put her opinion out there either way. Before she decided how the idea of her husband transiting into a woman made her feel, she decided to ask Jessica and then just play along so she remained quiet and waited for her daughter to continue. "I mean we both love dad right?" which got a genuine agreement from Sarah. "To me, that means loving DAD. Not his name, or his clothing, or his pronouns or whatever. We love him. I say that if I'm right, we give him time to tell us for himself and when he does, we support him."

Sarah smiled at her daughter and agreed with her now that Jessica told her mother what her opinion was supposed to be. "You are absolutely right. You and I will support him one hundred percent if and when he lets us know." With that Jessica and her mom went into the living room where Gerald, Harry, and Jade were sitting around silently. This was the first time that Sarah took enough attention off of her daughter to even notice that Jade was there so Jessica introduced them. A little while later Harold began talking about going home and it was apparent that Jessica's mom wasn't ready to go yet and began thinking of excuses. Taking the kids out for a late lunch wound up being her answer and since Jessica had mentioned enjoying a new restaurant on Wednesday, taking them there became her answer.

Dad remained largely quiet from the time Jessica had upgraded him to stage two until the end of the night. He commented on the nice house that Jade lived in when they went to drop her off. When Gerald noticed how unhappy she looked getting out of the car, he deftly grabbed the board games out of her hands and told her just to run in real quick and grab another change of clothes for tomorrow if she wanted to. While watching the young woman quickly run inside to grab something, Harold mentioned how attractive she looked with a definite wistful tone in his voice. He complained about how much money the family had been spending lately as they entered the restaurant. Other than that though he didn't really say anything until they got back to the apartment. Instead of letting the three college kids get out before driving away, he turned off the car and asked his family to hold on for a second.

From his grave tone of voice and the far-away stare he had as they sat there, it was obvious that he wanted to say something serious. At that moment he appeared more nervous and scared than they had even see Jade act since they begun hanging out with her. The quiet went on for more than two minutes and it was obvious that he was just working up his courage and figuring out how to say what he wanted to say. Finally he looked over at his wife and tried his best to smile, "Remember you said you needed to come here to take a look at the clothes Jess bought for her brother?" He gave his wife the chance to nod in response before continuing, "Well, for the past day or two and last few hours especially, I have been thinking about how great it would be to get a new wardrobe. Just not like the one Gerald has." He exhaled very deeply as he got ready for the next part. "I think I would like clothes more like yours. Or Jessica's. Or Jade's. I want to try wearing woman clothes. And I don't want to go by the name Harold anymore."

There was a deep silence in the car. The kids in the backseat were all silent while they let their mom be the first to respond. All she did was look at the backseat and smile at Jessica, "Well, you called it."

Harold screamed a shocked, "what," and just incoherently ranted for a little while. He couldn't turn to look at Jessica as she was sitting directly behind him and he still had his seat belt on so he adjusted the rearview mirror and directed it so he could see his daughter better. "You knew?" H-how did you know? I hadn't even considered it until like yesterday!"

Jessica looked at her father and placed a hand on his shoulder doing her best to feign some level of ignorance, "I didn't know. I kind of guessed." She sighed pretending to have had little more than wild guesses prior to leaving for dinner. She mentioned the stuff about looking smaller and having a clean-shaven chin and just brought it up to mom as a guess. Not even a serious one just telling mom to hold off on buying a bunch of new man clothes just in case. But I began to think it could be a little more real today. The way you were so quiet made me think something was up. As we hung around today, like after I talked to you about the bidet in the bathroom you just looked upset. Like you had something weighing on your mind and didn't know how to say it. You didn't give us any of your dad jokes, ya didn't bring up Chipper Jones or Tom Glavine. You even went all day and didn't cuss out Kent Hrbek one time!"

That got the reaction that Jessica had hoped for as the randomness of it managed to make everyone else in the car other than Jade laugh out loud. Harold in particular laughed the hardest before looking at his daughter through the mirror, "Fine, fine. Screw Kent Hrbek. That better?"

Jessica nodded and said it was much better before Sarah addressed her husband, "It's like Jessica said this morning though, we love you. Not your clothes or your muscles, or your name. If you need to do this for your own happiness, then we fully support you." She leaned over and gave her spouse a kiss on the cheek.

Those two down she looked at Gerald who hadn't said much, "And how do yo feel about it."

Gerald just shrugged his shoulders and did his best to look his father in the eyes, "You sure you want to do this?"

"Not in the slightest. But I feel like I need to at least give it a shot so I can know one way or the other."

Gerald slowly nodded his head and smiled, "Fair enough. So you said you don't want to be Harold anymore. Got a new name picked out?"

"Lily."

Gerald smiled, "Alright Lily, if you think that might make you happier, you do you."

Jessica smiled, "Great. Well you were planning to come over and fix up the toilet tomorrow anyway. I have a little bit of an appointment to meet someone tomorrow afternoon around 1 but after that, maybe me and you can head to the store and get you some new outfits. Have you thought about what style you'd like to wear?"

The family talked for a few more minutes making some plans, working some basic things out. After that was done the three in the backseat piled out and as they walked to the house Jade just looked a bit stunned, "Wow."

"Something wrong," Gerald asked.

"Oh no, nothing's wrong, I just realized how much crazy stuff I've experienced in the last two days. My first friends, finally playing my game with someone, my first umm, you know, with you last night, and then I'm sitting there while your da-err, mom comes out as trans. Just been a crazy couple of days."

As they began climbing upstairs to head to their apartment Jessica got a big smile, "And don't forget you also got to meet your boyfriend's parents today." Jade blushed deeply at Gerald being called her boyfriend while Jessica just laughed. "And the night is still young and we still got two games we haven't even played yet. The fun times aren't over yet."
