A Dragon’s Fire
The solar windows stood open to the night. Smoke from the captured town drifted in on the warm wind, carrying the scent of burned timber and spilled wine. You sat in the high chair that had belonged to the former lord, one boot still on the table, the other resting on Margaery’s bare hip where she lay across the maps. Her thighs remained parted. The mixed releases of the day had dried in glossy streaks along her skin. Tyrion had left with the last of the dispatches. Grey Worm and Varys had gone to post the night watch. Only Missandei remained, standing near the hearth with a cup of watered wine, her eyes dark and thoughtful as she watched the two of you.
Outside a low, rolling growl shook the stones.
Drogon.
You felt it in your chest first, the same way you always felt him when he was close. The bond between you had always been more than rider and mount. Tonight it thrummed with something heavier, thicker, almost feverish. The sexual conquest of the day had soaked into everything. The open use of Margaery in the square. The wet sounds. The scent of cunt and seed on the air. Drogon had circled above it all, black wings cutting the smoke, and somehow the heat of it had reached him.
Another growl, deeper this time. The heavy beat of wings passed over the roof. Dust sifted from the beams.
Missandei set her cup down. “Khaleesi. He has not settled since the landing. The other dragons rest. He does not. The handlers say he will not take the meat they offer. He only watches the keep.”
You rose. Margaery’s eyes followed you, still hazy with the day’s use. You crossed to the open window and looked out over the torchlit walls. Drogon crouched on the highest battlement like a living shadow, wings half-spread, head low. His great golden eyes fixed on the solar. When he saw you he let out a sound that was almost a whine, deep and vibrating, the kind of noise he made only when the need in him had grown too sharp to ignore.
You felt it through the bond. Not words. Heat. Pressure. A restless, heavy ache that mirrored the lingering throb between your own thighs. The day’s filth had marked him somehow. The open fucking, the moans carrying on the wind, the scent of arousal rising from the square. Dragons were creatures of fire and instinct. Yours had always answered to you. Tonight that answer had turned carnal.
“He needs relief,” you said quietly.
Missandei’s breath caught. Margaery pushed herself up on her elbows, the maps crinkling under her bare back. Neither woman spoke. The choice hung in the air between the three of you, heavy as the dragon’s gaze.
You turned from the window. The bond pulsed again, a thick, insistent pull that made your cunt clench in answer. Drogon shifted on the battlement, claws scoring stone, the tip of his massive tail lashing once. The air outside smelled of ozone and hot scale and something muskier, deeper, that had nothing to do with blood or smoke.
Missandei stepped closer, voice soft. “I have tended him before, Khaleesi. When the heat of battle left him restless. If you command it…”
Margaery’s tongue touched her lower lip. The survivor’s eyes were clear now, calculating and hungry at once. “Or I can go to him. I have already taken every other need in this campaign. One more would not break me.”
You looked from one woman to the other, then back toward the dark shape on the wall. The bond throbbed harder. Drogon’s head lowered. A long, low sound rolled out of him, almost pleading.
Your own body answered with a fresh slickness between your legs. The day had left you raw and still wanting. The dragon’s need pressed against yours like a second heartbeat.
You could go to him yourself. Climb the battlements, lay your hands on the hot black scales, and give the great beast what the conquest had woken in him. Or you could send Missandei, whose quiet devotion had never once faltered. Or Margaery, the true survivor, already marked by every other hunger of the campaign and still eager to earn her place with whatever act was required.
The night wind moved through the solar. Outside Drogon waited, restless and hard with the same filthy heat that had soaked the town square.
You drew a slow breath and let the choice settle on your tongue, still unspoken.
