A Dieselpunk Universe, and a Project Given

My officers and I begin to go over possible universes to begin our conquest with. Tarn is quick to find a universe he wants to attack, one with a being that shares a name with him. He finds the universe of the Tranformers Cyberverse series with the decepticon that shares a name with him, I make sure he knows that we can't attack it yet as I doubt our forces can hold their own against them just yet. Sura starts to look through the universes of different animes, we're certainly a long ways off from attacking any of those. Vincent and Liliana work together and select a universe with a lot of diesel based technology.

The technology is incredibly advanced, but it is all powered by diesel. While the technology is advanced, it shouldn't be too challenging. Giving us enough of a challenge to properly test our forces, while not being overly difficult to conquer. I turn to my officers with that decided, "I want all of our forces to prepare for our first invasion, but first I have a request for Vincent and the twins."

They look at me with some interest as to what I could want, Sura speaks up first "What do you need sir? An enhancement made to the troops? A weapon built? A taskforce assembled? Name it and it will be done." Vincent makes a comment, "Sheesh Sura give the boss room to speak. We don't know what he wants from us. At this rate I wouldn't be surprised if you'd offer to shine his shoes." I can already tell these two have some kind of rivalry with Vincent likely having issues with Sura's method of showing loyalty, though I prevent them from arguing or fighting with an energy barrier between them.

I tell them what I have planned, "I would like to request a suit of battle armor for myself. Made using a mix of magic and technology." This catches them by surprise as Tarn speaks up, "Why? You're already more powerful than us. Why would you need a suit of armor?" Before I can respond Liliana chimes in, "He likely is doing that as a precautionary measure. After all his power, while great, is greatly limited at the moment. He likely would prefer to have something to help him in battle. Something that has built in weapons so that he doesn't have to rely solely on his own powers at all times, also to give him added defense."

I look at her, realizing how she likely knew this information and what I was going to say, "Yes. That." This catches them by surprise but Vincent is the first to speak up, "Well, when you put it that way it makes a lot of sense. I could easily build the armor and the twins could add some enchantments to it." This seems to spark some more fighting between them, with Sura yelling out "Hey! Why do you get to do most of the work building his armor. He said he wanted us to work together, that means we should do more than add some magic to one of your designs we should work equally to create such a suit for him!" I send another surge of energy between them.

"Enough! You three are going to be working together on the field. Don't let this dispute get in the way of your work as my officers. I want you both to work together. Equally. I want a suit that is equal parts magic and technology." They seem to back off but Vincent still says something, "I understand sir, I just love messing with Sura. She is so easily angered. Must be all that ego that comes from having such magic and being is such a position." I sigh as Sura starts going off on him again, I have enough and lift them both with telekinesis, "Listen, you can argue all you want when off duty. When on duty, you will work together. Otherwise you're both going to be cleaning up every inch of this place without any magic or advanced technology to help you. Understand?" They both nod, "Yes sir."

I let them go and begin walking away, "You can begin designing the armor when you find the time. Tarn, make sure they don't kill each other." Tarn simply nods his head as I exit the room to inspect my forces, as well as the armory. I like what I see in the armory, Lasers, freeze rays, power armors of different types, flying tanks with different weapons, different forms of grenades and so much more. Though I know that the use and potential is still limited until we gain more power.

As for my forces I find each group interesting. There is an entire portion of the forces dedicated to magic, pyromancers who wear a special red armor. Cryomancer that wear a special blue armor. There are other many standard elemental magic users, geomancy, hydromancy, aeromancy, floromancy, an some others. With some special magics in other groups with lower numbers, ones that manipulate gravity, ones that use flat out arcane energy, and some others. There are also enchanters to help make the weapons and armor for them, conjurers to bolster their numbers, healers to heal my forces, and some others.

The majority of my forces wear some armor that either uses magic or technology to enhance their powers or to emulate some form of powers. Along with weapons that are just like those in the armory.
