A Deal with a Demon

"Alright deal. But let's get something strait this is my body and I'm calling the shots got it!" Naruto called out to his inner demon.

Laughter was all Naruto heard as the demon within Naruto found his bravado amusing. "Very well. After all it is not as if I could act on my own accord at the moment anyway. Though in exchange you must allow my chakra to continuously flow through you. Not enough to allow my chakra to shroud you as it does now.

But enough where we may continue to speak and I can assist you in the future without having to wait for your emotion to overwrite the seal." Naruto thought this over for a moment. While he may have been impulsive Naruto was far from a fool. The Kyuubi had offered him a good deal. Perhaps too good.

Naruto could sense an ulterior motive behind the fox's honeyed words. The tailed beast was up to something. Still for now Naruto needed the Tailed-Beasts help if he was to keep his new found freedom. "Alright now that we got our terms done how about cooling down on the enveloping, or whatever you called this." Naruto said as he looked at his palm and the red chakra claw overlapping it.

"You should keep it for a longer while. Once I dispel it the fatigue of battle will begin to catch up. Most likely you will be rendered ****. We should find a safe place to hide out for a few days. One where those Leaf basterds can't find us. Or won't think to look for a few days."

The Fox's words where logical. Naruto could agree with them, though suspicion still plagued him. Burning his insides worse than the fox's cloak was burning his outsides. Could Naruto trust the nine-tailed demon fox?
