(Subplot) Cassie learns about Charlie’s job

Cassie woke up to the smell of coffee and reached out her arm for Charlie. He was not next to her in bed but instead was coming in the room with a cup of coffee. He said, “Good morning, sleepyhead. Hopefully you aren’t too sore after our late night romps.” He handed her the coffee cup and aspirins just in case before heading back to the kitchen. Cassie did admit to having a headache but Charlie always was thinking ahead which she admired about hum. Cassie had just realized she was naked and tried to cover up with a sheet but it was just them so she just forgot it. She stood up and she was definitely sore but a good sore.

She headed into the living room and saw where she had torn off her boyfriend’s clothes. She decide to put on his dress shirt and button just a few buttons that still left her cleavage exposed. She headed into the kitchen with her mug and saw him making breakfast. She spoke, “Nothing hotter than a man making breakfast.” He turned around and smiled with his chef apron on and saw she was wearing his shirt. He grunted as his dick must have been growing and might have been as sore as my pussy.

He turned around while groaning and said, “It looks really good on you. You can just wear that from now on if you like.” They both chuckled as Cassie sat on a bar stool at his island. She looked out into the city through the windows that went front the floor to the ceiling. She had to admit the view from being up top was definitely something else. She stared at Charlie and wondered what he did for a living to afford all of these things like the dress, dinner and the penthouse.

Cassie finally asked, “Charlie, I’m really curious and I hope I’m not overstepping any boundaries but I was curious what you did for work. I would love to do what you are doing since my job barely pays the bills.”

Charlie turned around with his smile and said, “So I work for a tech company and more specifically I run an app. The app specifically helps women with self-confidence and really does a lot of good with their overall mental health. Honestly, I could put in a good word for you and you can help me find candidates like a canvasser. You would be part of the sales team that backs me up and trust we me when I say they make good money as well. We could be a dynamic duo like no one has ever seen in this company.” He had gotten close and was holding Cassie’s hands.

It all made sense to Cassie now and she was relieved to know that it wasn’t anything illegal. The fact the Charlie was even willing to put in a good word for her made her get off her chair and embrace her lover while saying, “How did I get so lucky to land such a wonderfully perfect boyfriend?” She brought her lips up his as she felt his hand grab one of her exposed ass cheeks. They both giggled as Charlie turned back to breakfast to see it was done.

Charlie said, “I was just about to say the same thing to you. Breakfast is done and one we finish I’ll go ask my boss about getting you on the team. Sound like a plan?” Cassie nodded as she was presented with eggs Benedict and the most delicious bacon she had ever seen.
