"Let's head to the pool bar"

"Unfortunately, I think we should get going to the pool bar," I interjected. As much as I wanted to put Mandy on the spot, it was clear she was uncomfortable. I figured we could talk it over if she wanted and get back to Tina.

A look of relief washed over Mandy's face. "I'm starving. All that wave jumping really worked up an appetite."

Tina smiled. "Well, if you change your mind about that drink, I'm in room 2112."

We waved goodbye as we headed back across the beach. Madeline and Eric were still in their spots, lounging on beach chairs.

"Hey!" we said, grabbing their attention as we approached them. The turned and smiled at us.
