your 'old friends'

I looked around my lair, and noticed that the Pegasus race was still on the TV. I decided to take a closer look at the screen, to see if I could spot any familiar faces.

My heart skipped a beat as I saw Laura, my former podmate, standing there on the track, surrounded by a group of fans and admirers. She was every bit as magnificent as I remembered, with her fiery red feathers and powerful body. But there was something different about her now, something that couldn't quite put my finger on.

As my eyes locked onto Laura's fiery form, a wave of nostalgia washed over me, carrying with it memories of our countless hours spent exploring the virtual realms of Elyria together. Siren, the Water Dragoness beside her, seemed to be chatting with Laura, their conversation punctuated by laughter and gestures. The camera panned across the crowd, capturing the excitement and energy of the gathering, and I found myself grinning from ear to ear as I watched the scene unfold. My claws, still resting on the edge of my throne-like bed, twitched with a sudden urge to applaud, as if I were actually there, standing amidst the cheering throng.

As my gaze wandered through the crowd, it landed on two familiar figures that made my heart skip a beat. Sky, the anthropomorphic Gryphon, was standing a short distance away from Laura, her feathers a vibrant shade of blue that seemed to ripple in the sunlight. Her eyes sparkled with excitement as she laughed at something Drake, the quadrupedal Space Dragon, was saying. Drake's scales glinted with a faintly iridescent sheen, a reminder of his otherworldly heritage.

As I watched my old friends on the screen, my mind was filled with memories of the adventures we had shared together. I could almost hear Sky's infectious laughter, and see Drake's eyes light up with excitement as he recounted tales of his travels through the cosmos. I could feel the warmth of Siren's scales as she nuzzled against me, and the strength of Laura's wings as she soared through the sky.

As I stood there, lost in the haze of nostalgia, a sudden spark of excitement ignited within me. I thought to myself, "Tonight's the perfect opportunity to reconnect with my old friends." A plan began to form in my mind, and I couldn't help but feel a thrill of anticipation. I would invite them to meet up again, to relive old times and create new memories. And, I thought with a mischievous grin, I would bring my sister along - the Light Dragoness was sure to be a hit with Drake, given her unabashed crush on the charismatic Space Dragon.
