Chapter 3
by ShootingQuazarDragon
What's next?
you meeting your savior and a life altering question
As your eyelids fluttered open, the bright sunlight pierced through your skull like a dagger, exacerbating the throbbing pain that had taken up residence in your head. You winced, trying to raise a hand to shield your eyes, but your wrists were bound tightly to the tree trunk behind you. The rough bark dug into your skin, and the ropes cut off circulation, making your fingers tingle. You tried to struggle, but the restraints held fast, securing you to the tree like a sacrifice to some ancient deity. The villagers, their faces twisted in cruel grins, closed in around you, their taunts and jeers washing over you like a polluted tide.
your father then said "hey you vile demon we have sacrefice for you" before they left, while you were strapped against the tree, although when you looked around you stopped paniking since you knew you were in front of your friend's Cave.
As the villagers' voices faded into the distance, the only sound being the rustling of leaves and snapping of twigs as they retreated, you let out a sigh of relief. The tree trunk behind you seemed to loom larger, its bark rough against your skin, but you hardly noticed. Your eyes were fixed on the cave entrance, the familiar dark opening a comforting presence in the midst of this chaotic and terrifying situation. You knew that just beyond that threshold, your friend, the dragon, lay waiting. The thought sent a surge of hope through your chest, and you strained against the ropes, testing their strength.
As the ropes severed, you felt a sudden jolt, your body weight shifting forward, threatening to send you tumbling to the ground. But before you could even process the sensation, a warm, scaly wing enveloped you, arresting your fall. The dragon's wing was a deep, burnished red, like molten lava, and it seemed to glow with an inner light as it curled around you, its edges ruffled and soft as silk. You felt the gentle pressure of the dragon's claws, carefully supporting your weight, as if cradling a fragile egg.
you looked up to see the beautiful face of your friend a big lava dragon, as your gaze met the dragon's, its eyes, like two glittering rubies, shone with warmth and concern. The dragon's face, a masterpiece of scales and curves, was a map of gentle ridges and soft, rounded contours. The nostrils flared slightly, as if sensing your distress, and the dragon's mouth, a thin-lipped line, curled into a reassuring smile. A low rumble, a soothing vibration, emanated from the dragon's throat, a sound that seemed to resonate deep within your chest, calming the racing of your heart. The dragon's claws, still supporting your weight, flexed gently, as if to remind you that you were safe, that you were home.
you than thanked him for saving you, to which he said "no Erza, you saved me from my lonelyness, so you can see it as me paying you back for that".
The dragon's words, spoken in a low, rumbling voice, seemed to vibrate deep within your chest, and you felt a warmth spread through your body, as if the very sound of its voice was a balm to your frazzled nerves. You looked up at the dragon, your eyes meeting its gem-like gaze, and felt a sense of wonder wash over you. The dragon's smile, a gentle curving of its lips, seemed to grow wider, as if it sensed the emotions swirling within you.
As you stepped into the warm, golden light of the dragon's lair, the heat enveloped you like a gentle hug, soothing your battered body and calming your frazzled nerves. The air was thick with the scent of smoke and sulfur, a familiar smell that seemed to seep into your pores, comforting you with its familiarity. The dragon's lair, a vast cavernous space, stretched out before you, the ceiling lost in darkness. The walls, a deep, burnished red, seemed to glow with an inner light, as if the very rocks themselves were infused with the dragon's fiery essence.
As you stepped further into the main room, the warm, golden light danced across the vast treasure trove, casting a mesmerizing glow on the glittering piles of gold and gems. The air was heavy with the sweet scent of molten metal, and the sound of gentle lapping of the lava lakes against the stone shores created a soothing melody. Inferno's hoard, a testament to its ancient wisdom and power, stretched out before you like a treasure trove of the gods.
As Inferno's claws gently closed around you, you felt a sense of weightlessness, as if you were floating on a cloud. The warmth of his scales seeped into your skin, soothing the bruises and scrapes that crisscrossed your body. You settled into the curve of his neck, feeling the gentle rise and fall of his chest as he breathed. The sound of his heartbeat, a low thrumming that vibrated through his body, was like a lullaby, calming your racing thoughts and quieting your mind.
Your gaze lingered on the imposing shape, the rust-red scales glistening in the warm light of the lair. The memories came flooding back, the countless nights spent dreaming of this very moment, of being close to Inferno, of being one with him. Your mind replayed the fantasies, the secret desires you had harbored for so long, the longing to feel his scales against your skin, to taste the fire that burned within him. The dreams of living as a dragoness, of soaring the skies alongside Inferno, of feeling the wind rushing past your face as you gazed into his eyes. Your cheeks flushed with a mix of excitement and embarrassment as you realized where your thoughts had strayed.
You shook your head, the realization of your human limitations bringing you back to reality. The dragon's claws tightened around you, as if sensing your disappointment. You looked up at Inferno, your eyes meeting his again, and you saw the same warmth and concern in his gaze.
"Inferno, I wish I could be like you, soaring through the skies and basking in the warmth of the sun," you said, your voice tinged with sadness.
Inferno knew there was a way to make this a reality but thought you would never do this but it was a worth a try saying "there is a way for this to come true but for it you need to be claimed as my mate" he said with a sight as he thought you would never do this.
As Inferno's words hung in the air, the warmth of the lair seemed to thicken, becoming almost palpable. You felt a shiver run down your spine, your heart skipping a beat as you met Inferno's gaze. His eyes, like two glittering rubies, held a deep intensity, as if burning with a fire that threatened to consume you whole. The silence between you was heavy with unspoken meaning, the weight of his words settling upon you like a physical presence.
how do you decide do you become his mate or do you just want to be a friend of his?
