Despite her better judgment Max got into he car, the mysterious man followed her into he backseat. The driver pulled away.

"Jack Lymen," the man offered his name. trying to ease some of the tension in the car.

"Okay, Jack. How do you know my name." max asked.

Jack paused for a second, as if thinking something over in his head. "We shared a former employer."

It was barely noticeable but Max moved ever so slightly away from him and glanced over at the car door. He didn't mean Jam Pony that was for sure.

"Manticore," Max said softly, she had already made a plan of escape. She could open the door, jump out, at this speed she'd only take superficial damage.

"I haven't worked for them for a long time Max. There's no need to panic."

"The escapees are no secret and I still have some connections. When I heard there was one of you in Seattle I made sure I would be the first one to know if you ended up arrested or in the hospital. It cost me a pretty penny but you're here after all. I figure it was worth it."
