Jake knew he had the battle in the bag as the first task was to simply fly around the private island where the family reunion was being held. It was such an easy task, especially when Jake saw Gregory fly at a speed barely faster than walking. As if to prove he was the real dominant Dragon of the pair Jake flew around the island as many times as he could before Gregory finished a single lap of it. Yet as he came to a landing he was informed by his Great Uncle Ming that he had lost the challenge.

"How I easily flew around the island," Jake said.

"Yes you did but the challenge was to do it only once. You not only broke the rules by doing it at my last count of seventeen times but there is also the fact that you waited until Gregory had finished and landed before you touched down meaning he not only performed the actions dictated by the challenge but was also the first to land." Uncle Ming said as a point was added the board that was keeping the score as his Aunt Cathy smirked at him while forcing his mother to pour her a drink of tea as if his mother was a maid already to the bitch.

The second challenge was to use their dragon fire breath to shoot some targets that had been set up on the beach. First up was Gregory whose breath was rather weak and barely reached the target let alone got anywhere close to the middle usually landing in the outer ring where the lowest amount of points was located. When it was Jake's turn he let out his fire with perfect aim and precision not only hitting the target but also destroying the targets themselves.

"Gregory wins round two due to Jake destroying the targets when the task was to just hit them," Great Uncle Ming said making Jake's heart drop at losing through another technicality. Off to the side as Uncle Ming declared Gregory's victory Jake could not help but notice that his Aunt Cathy now had his mom give her a foot rub as Hailey fanned the stuck-up bitch.

Jake was going to follow the exact word of the next challenge knowing that if he lost here he would lose the bet securing his family's Beta status to the rest of the family. He thought he had it in the bag for the challenge was a simple fight between him and Gregory when the loser would be the first one to fall into the sand. As he had already witnessed Gregory's level of strength had no chance of beating him at all. He was going to have some fun trouncing the idiot. Gregory, for his part, did not appear too concerned about the upcoming battle just standing there eating a banana as if he was not about to fall face-first into the sand after just a simple blow from Jake.

As Great Uncle Ming gave the sign to start the match Jake decided he would actually go easy on Gregory as they had both been given the option of fighting as Dragons or in their human form. Jake figured that if he trounced Gregory as a human when the other was a Dragon it would show off his powers and maybe earn him some extra points. Gregory came at him swiping a dragon claw towards his midsection but Jake easily avoided it as he threw a punch to Gregory's side. His hand hurt a little as he punched Gregory''s scales but his younger cousin winced and back up from the blow.

With a predatory smile, Jake made to follow him as he takes a step closer only for his foot to come down on the banana peel Gregory had tossed aside earlier. Before Jake could shift into Dragon form and use his tail to make sure he did not fall he slipped on the peel and landed right at Gregory's feet. It was bad enough that he had once again lost the challenge by a technicality but what was worse was that his fall had landed him so that he had ended up kissing one of Gregory's feet as if he had already submitted to him.
