One year later, Mathew was quite successful now. Ever since one odd day he up and went bought a car, everything had come his way. He had returned to college, finishing his degree in business in a year, and was working in a firm under the CEO. He lived rather privately and disliked being invited to things after work. He didn't have a girlfriend, but not for others lack of trying. Some swore they've seen him with a hispanic looking punk girl, but he denies all such allegations.
Matt had been quite busy. He now kept 3 spirits at all times. Using the power of the book to improve his life. He was now independent, well-off, and upwardly mobile. He had respect, and he had other worldly power at his disposal.
He had his first imp, whom he had named Tar with him, flying at all times. He used her powers heavily day to day. Keeping his charisma magnetic and making it easy for him to get the best of people. He felt connected with her, and fucked her just about daily.
He had a higher level naiad that he kept at home, guarding the book with her powers. She was a quieter soul, but held a softer beauty. He rarely fed her cum, instead feeding her his own blood on occasion (which when prepared properly provided more energy than his semen, but semen had a quicker absorption rate). But he shared his bed with her, and used her as a household servant.
Finally he kept a third spirit, called an Umbral. This thing inhabited his own shadow and survived off of nearly no food as long as he didn't use it. This spirit protected his person and could move his body without his volition. This spirit had no form or personality to interact with and was the most difficult summoning he had done. It had saved him once from hitting a cyclist, but so far it was the most ominous spirit he had summoned.
Mathew's life was going perfectly. He was becoming more powerful daily. He had yet to see a spirit he hadn't summoned. Until one day, Matt gets a letter in the mail.
