they all rinse off and part ways

Nicole and Simon collected their swimsuits from the deck, dripping with water and flushed with pleasure. Simon calmly stepped back into his shorts, and Nicole pulled on her white bikini with a slow, seductive ease, the clasp clicking into place with a satisfying snap. They slid back into the pool, submerged under the water, and resurfaced.

"Smart move," said Abbie. She and Jake also got redressed, and got back into the pool. As they resurfaced, Abbie and Jake watched the other couple with a mix of satisfaction and uncertainty. The moment felt charged, heavy with the knowledge of what had just transpired between them.

Abbie was the first to speak. "I've never done this before, so I don't know what you say at the end." Her voice was light, but her eyes betrayed a hint of vulnerability.

Nicole let out a throaty laugh. "You don't say anything, honey. You just bask in the afterglow and hope that it happens again."

Jake tried to suppress a smile, but couldn't help himself. "That sounds like a plan to me."

Abbie took his hand, and the two of them stepped back, putting some distance between themselves and the other couple. She shot a playful wink at Nicole. "We're around for a few more days."

Nicole nodded, a knowing look in her eye. She turned to Simon, murmuring something that Abbie and Jake couldn't quite catch. It didn't matter though -- they were lost in their own world, the memory of their shared pleasure still fresh in their minds.

As they swam back out of the tunnel and into the main pool, Abbie and Jake couldn't help feeling a thrill of excitement. No one seemed to notice the two people who appeared from the forbidden tunnel. They swam across the pool to the side where their deck chairs were. They pulled themselves back out of the water, walked to their chairs and towels, and stretched out in the sun.
