the team is as prepared as they can be

the lass kickers are driving to the arena. Becky is driving, Kaylee in the passenger seat and Tegan in the back passenger seat.

"so Tegan did ya ever get a match set up?" Becky asks.

"yeah I'm going to wrestle Dakota kai."

"ooh. sounds excitin'"

Tegan sighed.

"yeah."

"what's botherin' ye Tegan?" Kay lee asked picking up on her tone.

"it's Dakota. we used to be best friends. I tried to talk to her after I helped her fight off Mandy's crew.

she blew me off. didn't even thank me for saving her."

"ye'll kick her arse." Kay lee told her simply.

"that's not the POINT." Tegan muttered.

"ya want her ta be yer friend again?" Becky said understanding.

"right!" Tegan said glancing at her.

"well I hope ye can knock some sense inta' her."

Becky pulled up into the parking lot and they began unloading their bags.

hours later

the trio is dressed and ready for action.

"ye've got this Tegan," Becky says softly, rubbing Tegan's shoulder.

"just go out there and give it everythin' ye've got."

and Tegan did just that.

she and Dakota kai had a long match ending with Tegan making Dakota tap.

after the match....

Tegan was undressing to shower.

she had removed her top, boots and kneepads and knee brace and was about about to pull her shorts down when Dakota kai stormed in.

"you think this makes you BETTER THAN ME DON'T YOU?!" Dakota screamed.

Tegan spun to face her startled, covering her breasts.

"geez you SCARED me!" Dakota shoved her up against the wall and leaned close, their faces just inches apart, Dakota breathing hard.

"you want scared? I'll SHOW you SCARED!" Dakota whispered.

"Dakota I don't want to fight anymore! I want us to be FRIENDS again." Tegan pleaded.

Dakota stared at her and Tegan saw pain in her eyes. Dakota's pale pink tongue darted out to moisten her lips.

her breathing seemed faster.

"there's no reason we CAN'T be friends. I'll even forgive you for attacking my knee if it helps."

a few years ago at war games Dakota had turned on her team and attacked Tegan's surgically repaired Knee with a chair

and then by slamming it in the cage door. a long recovery and a years long feud later they were still enemies.

Dakota grabbed Tegan by the throat as if to strangle her.

and then Dakota kissed her hard on the mouth.

she pressed her body against Tegan's and kissing her hungrily said,

"I've...mmph always mmm WANTED you Tegan!" between kisses.

Dakota pressed her lips down hard on Tegan's as though there was a deep longing she was finally sating.

"always!" almost shaking with need Dakota broke the kiss and gazed longingly into Tegan's eyes.

her eyes briefly went to where Tegan was covering her bare breasts with crossed arms.

Tegan was confused.

"Dakota... I never knew.. I thought you were.."

abruptly Dakota frowned and shoved her away.

"I knew you wouldn't UNDERSTAND!" Dakota angrily stormed out of the room.

Tegan wondered what just happened.
