Chapter 48 by zankoo zankoo

Which path do they choose?

the path to the right, staying closer to the building

Jake glanced around, trying to assess where each of the path options might go. The fact was, he didn't know the grounds of the hotel, so it was going to be a random choice no matter what.

"This way," he said, gesturing to the right with his head. Abbie had no objections, and caught up with Jake by skipping a bit until she fell into stride with him.

Different couples walk with different energies. The energy that Abbie and Jake had would have suggested (to anyone who happened to see them) that they were a young couple in love. They were close to one another, holding hands tightly, smiling. She occasionally jumped or skipped. He laughed and made her laugh. They looked like the kind of couple that other couples would see and admire, or feel jealous of.

The path took a turn around one corner of the hotel, and they discovered that they had likely reached one end of the building. There were not spiking branches of the building jutting out. Jake looked back and then peered again around the corner.

"I think this is the side of the hotel. If we keep going this way, we'll probably get around to the front."

Abbie shrugged. "Okay with me. I just like the walk."

"And the company?"

Abbie snickered. "Yes, Jake. And the company." She squeezed his hand and smiled at him.

They continued along the path to the right, winding along the perimeter of the hotel. As Jake expected, the path eventually merged with some of the walkways along the front of the hotel. They had seen the front when they first arrived, of course, but now at nighttime, it looked different. By day, the façade of the hotel's front sparkled in the sunshine. At night, there were various outdoor lighting fixtures, all quite glamorous and spectacular, and the front of the hotel had a different kind of shimmer to it, reflecting lamps, stars, and the moon.

Jake and Abbie were still off to the side, but within eyesight of the main entrance. Beginning at the corner of the building and extending in the direction of the main entrance was a fenced in area of outdoor seating, which appeared to be attached to a restaurant or bar inside. There were quite a number of patrons out there, enjoying the night air along with a snack and beverage.

From where Abbie and Jake stood, they could easily pass by the end of the patio (and quite directly be seen by any of the patrons seated there) or remain just shy of the front edge of the hotel, just before rounding the corner.

"If we turn that corner, we're around the front of the building again," said Jake.

"Did you want to stay here?" asked Abbie, slightly confused.

Jake took a breath and exhaled slowly. "It's just ... well, I can't stop thinking about something I said before, when we were still inside."

Abbie raised an eyebrow. "What was that?"

"Something about you ... and a taking advantage inside the restaurant ..." Jake smirked.

Abbie remembered exactly what Jake had said. "You told me you wanted to lift up my dress and throw me against a wall."

"Did I?"

Abbie nodded. "Mm-hm. Those were your words."

"Did you like that idea?"

Abbie's breath stopped short. "Mm," she moaned. "Yes ... yes, I did." She took a few steps backward toward the outer wall of the hotel. Behind her was a window; next to it, a door; and overhead, a floodlight brightly illuminating the walkway. To her right was the corner around which lay the patio and the restaurant patrons, no more than a few feet away from where she stood.

"Would you like it if I pressed you against a wall ...?" Jake asked.

Abbie stared at Jake, all her sense of giddy silliness now having evolved into sexual foreplay. "That would be amazing, Jake."

"And I suppose ... you'd like me to lift up your dress too, would you?" Jake was teasing her with the elongated questions.

Abbie put a hand on her breast (over her dress) and groped herself briefly as she answered. "Ooh, Jake ... I would like that."

Jake looked at their position outside the hotel. "It's quite well-lit. Don't you think other hotel guests strolling at night might see you?"

Abbie nodded. "I think they might."

"And you still want me to lift your dress and throw you against the wall ...?" he asked carefully.

Abbie nodded again, beginning to breathe more heavily. "I do ... Jake, don't just talk about it." She moved her hand down from her breast toward her crotch, sliding her fingers inside the low scoop of her dress. "Jake, I'm so fucking wet ..." she whispered, fingering herself lightly.

Jake looked at her, illuminated from above and behind by the floodlight on the wall, and slightly by the moon and the ambient light of the night sky in the front. He looked at the wall behind her and tried to play out in his mind what it would be like to literally fling her against it. He had never done anything like that.

Abbie kept looking at him as she touched herself, her body pulsating in place, waiting for him to take control of her.

"Jake ..." she said softly.

He knew not to ask her twice. What would be the point? She'd just say yes again. He knew that. So he strode boldly toward her. As he did, he saw her lift her head and take a breath, steeling herself for him to become more physical with her. He put one hand on her shoulder (the arm that was reaching into her dress) and his other on her other arm, lifting it into the air. He continued moving toward her, grabbing her along the way, and toward the wall. Without losing momentum, he backed her toward the outside of the hotel, and in a matter of seconds, had her body pressed up against the wall.

What's next?
