the mall

the car pulled into the parking lot as Lauren's heart sank. She was anxious, stressed. She needed to find a way out of this situation. The car door flung open and Mildred pulled little Lauren out.

"come on now child" said Mildred sternly.

Lauren was still pulling her skirt down, making herself small and begging to disappear. Mildred took her hand and let her into the shopping mall. Lauren caught a glimpse of herself in the reflection of the glass windows near the entrance. How shocking. There she was, a little girl with a flat chest and tight tank top. Holding a lady's hand. Mildred on her left and Patricia on her right. She looked like a 12 year old schoolgirl walking with her mother or guardian and an older sister.

Patricia's clothing showed of a sexy figure. Lauren looked up to catch a glimpse at Patty's arrogant smirk. Some young men's heads were spinning as they checked out the sexy lady. Lauren's head spun and as mixed feeling overwhelmed her. The shame, the humiliation. Now she really was the schoolgirl, out in public, being cared for by adults. Just this morning she was the sexy Lauren, the ice queen... what happened? It was that damn Patricia. She was wearing her clothes and looking sexy. Lauren swored she'd make her pay!

"here we are" said Mildred.

"Pet store?" wondered Lauren out loud.

She was ignored by her caretakers. An expected reaction considering she was now a small child.

"hello Madam, I am looking for some food for my fish" Said Mildred to a store clerk.

"what type do you have?" asked the clerk.

Lauren turned to see Patricia checking out some rabbits. Curious, she wondered off. Lauren watched the cute animals as the clerk dealt with Mildred. She turned a corner and bumped into another clerk stocking shelves. He was a large man several pounds over weight.

"hop-a" he said "sorry there little lady" he laughed. "are you... lost little girl?"

Lauren hesitate. She looked up as he towered over her. She felt so small and embarrassed.

"Hey kid." he said "are you lost?"

she took a few steps back and suddenly heard a voice behind her.

"Lauren" she turned to see Patricia. "come here kiddo, we don't want you to get lost now!"

The clerk smiled "kids huh" he said.

"yes" smiled Patty as she looked at Lauren maliciously. "kids..."

"Is it your little sister?" asked the clerk.

"um... yea." Patricia played along.

"Well if she is anything like her big sis she will be a stunner when she is older". He smiled. "She's a shy little thing for now tho. Go on kiddo" he said, grabbing a box and heading to the back store.

Lauren approached Patricia, red faced.

"Did you have fun looking at the little animals, kiddo"

"I... I did Patty..."

"that's Miss Patricia, kiddo"

"Yes Miss Patricia"

they both stood at the shelf for a while checking out some cat toys.

"see anything you like kiddo?"

"um... no Miss Patricia"

an awkward silence follow. Lauren dreaded being out, in public. Just her and Patty, now Miss Patricia and Lauren just a little kiddo.

"did you like the animals? they are cute huh?"

"Yes Miss"

"do you have pets?"

"nope" Lauren found herself falling further and further into the role of a child. Acting more innocent, helpless.... perhaps clothes did make the girl.

"do you want pets?" asked Patty smirking.

"I dunno"

a silence followed. Patricia looked through some of the cat leashes. She looked over to Lauren.

"I always wanted a pet" Said Patty.

She took a leash. It was a thin nylon leash with a little bell.

"that's a nice one, huh?" said Patty.

Lauren nodded.

Patricia turned toward Lauren and held the leash against Lauren's neck.

"Yes. a nice fit indeed" she smiled. Lauren didn't understand. it was for cats, not humans.

Suddenly Patricia leaned over.

"You're so cute in your little outfit, little Lauren. I think you'd make such a lovely pet." she whispered into Lauren's ear. Lauren could feel Patty's breath on her and shivered.

Patty moved back away from Lauren, looking down on her. She towered before the small child. She smiled, holding the leash.

Lauren found herself nodding. She didn't know why she was nodding, she just... was.

"there you two are!" Mildred's voice could be heard. "I have other stops to make, let's get going!"

She approached the two and grabbed Lauren's hand to get going.
