the doctor enlightens

"So you are not happy with your job anymore? the doctor asked in a comforting voice. "You know after our last meeting I kinda noticed.... it isn't as interesting as it was to me" she said with a kind of embarrassed voice. "It's ok to realise things like this Claudia, it's amazing that you can acknowledge that." he said.

"Really?" she asked hopefully. "Yes, it's amazing that you can admit that all the long hard work and the university classes you took were a mistake, because we can learn from mistakes." he said smiling. "I wouldn't call it a mistake..." she said in an uneasy voice.

"It was not? It was not a mistake to push all that complicated stuff in your brain, while all you really ever wanted to be was like this? A happy girl following her female instincts, a girl which is ...confident?" he put a special emphasis on the word confident. "Tell me Claudia, when in the last weeks did your brain make you happy?"
