surprise meeting

My eyes slowly open up I'm graced by the sight of Delilah still sleeping in my arms, she looks so innocent I know better she can be a real handful sometimes. I brush some of her hair from her face and cup her cheek in my hand she nuzzles into it. "Mmm Antonio." She was talking in her sleep I found it adorable. I gently move her away from me and get off the couch I walk over to the closet and find an extra blanket to cover us. I move back over to the couch and softly get back on it and throw the blanket over us. I wrap my arms back around her. She snuggled against my chest "yeah you like it in the ass." What was she dreaming about...on second thought probably best that I don't know. "Delilah are you awake." I whisper, she doesn't respond. Suddenly there is a know at my door. "Come in." My tone is slightly hushed so I don't wake Delilah up. Amanda walks through the door. We start whispering to each other "hey what's up?" "Nothing much just came by to give you guys your invitations." she must be referring to the Fasdol Ball, she sets down an envelope on the table in front of me. "So did you two just get through having sex?" I just shake my head "goodnight Amanda." She pouts "you're no fun oh well I'll get the details from Delilah later." she walks out of the room as she says this. Man she could be troublesome sometimes, I look at the clock on the wall it was eleven pm.

I let out a yawn and decide to go back to sleep. "..onio...Antonio...it's time to get up." I feel a familiar pair of lips press against mine. "C'mon sleepy head get up I open my eyes and look at the clock it's nine am I rub some sleep out of my eyes, "what's up?" "get dressed we're going out." I notice Delilah is only wearing a towel at the moment. I get up and move towards her her back is to me, I gently kiss her neck. "Antonio c'mon, go take a shower and get dressed." I sigh "fine." I grab a towel from the closet and take a quick shower. As soon as I exit the bathroom Delilah is standing the suit she bought me when we first went to the mall. "Put this on." I shrug "ok." She was being a little bossy but she was being nice about it so I didn't mind...plus I kinda like it when she's bossy. I put of the suit. Delilah bites her bottom lip "damn that suit looks good on you." I blush "so why am I getting all dressed up so early in the morning?" "Well we have to go to a few places before the ball." Her tone is full of excitement. "Alright lets go." we walk into the garage and make our way to our first stop. It was a place called registration, I give her a confused look. "What are we doing here?" She smile you my friend are gonna become a registered citizen. I quirk an eye brow at this, "don't worry it won't take to long." We enter the building. We're greeted by a robot "hello pleasure to meet you please take a number." the slot in the middle of it's chest spits out a piece of paper, It spits out number eighty nine, a teller shouts out "number forty nine." It's than that I realize we might be here for a while...but at least I had Delilah with me so that was always a plus. "Well might as well get comfortable." I sit down and pat the seat next to me she sits next to me.

"Hey Delilah did the other three clans combine to fight against clan Kai." She smiles "well pretty much, so how did you like your first mission." I look at her "I was glad that everyone was ok, was definitely more than a little scared when we got surrounded." She laughs "yeah that was a little intense." "I want to thank you for stopping me." She gives me a sideways glance "where did that come from?" I look down at the floor "well I know that I lost my head for a minute there." she places a hand on mine "hey I understand, don't beat yourself up over it ok?" I look over at her "thanks Delilah." she plants a little kiss on me "you don't have to thank me." We make small chat till finally it's our turn and thankfully the process is quick they take some blood my finger prints little personal information and then the process ended with a photo. "you should get your I.D In about a week have a nice day." I look up at the clock it's twelve O clock. We walk back to her car, "so where to next?" She's about to speak when something unexpected happens we're approached by two men they're clean cut and dressed in black suits one of them is tall with a build that rivals Williams. The other is small his muscles are lean I didn't like the vibe I was getting from them. Delilah walks around the car and holds my hand I instantly feel magic running from her into me. I knew I had to buy time so my body could properly absorb the magic. They stop in front of us the taller one speaks "are you Antonio Rodrigues?" I look at him he's wearing shades so I can't see his eyes, "who wants to know." My body is tensing up It's becoming difficult to absorb the magic since my concentration is spit between it and these strangers. "Our client would like to see you in person."

I give Delilah a look she gives me a stout nod, "fine I'll go with you." I walk up to them a car come seemingly out of no where the taller one opens the door. "Get inside the vehicle." I do as they say." I sit on the nice leather seat , I feel the car begin to move I wasn't to concerned on where they were taking me I already knew Delilah was gonna follow. I begin focusing on the magic i need to absorb it all before I get to where ever they're taking me. I'm not sure how much time has passed but I'm relieved when I don't feel anymore magic my body has absorbed it all. I could break out of the vehicle now but I was probably a good two hundred feet in the air so probably not the best Idea. Suddenly the car stops and the door opens. I get out of the vehicle I'm in awe of what I see, there is a six story mansion in front of I let my body relax a little as the two men flank each side of me we head to the front door. As I approach the door a man opens it. He's dressed in a butler outfit "good day sir master Lightheart is waiting for you. Lightheart isn't that Delilah's last name I'm sure it's just a coincidence. I enter the house the two men still right beside me they have seemingly let their guard down now is my chance to act. I suddenly move over to the taller one and punch him square on the chin he falls to the ground the smaller ones lunge at me I kick him right in the face, he falls to the ground **** the taller one also seems incapacitated..."huh? That went better than expected suddenly a green green light wraps around me and forms chains binding my hands to my body. A womans voice suddenly breaks the silence "tsk tsk tsk you should play better with others you know." Hey you guys kidnapped me I tend to play a little rough with people who mean to do me or Delilah harm." A woman appears out of the corner of my eye she's beautiful in fact she kinda looks like Delilah her eyes are purple she has brown hair that goes down to her mid back and she has a killer body she wore a black dress that didn't leave much to the imagination, but Delilah's body is better but not by much. She gets even closer to me. "W-what are you doing I feel the blush starting to form on my cheeks as her face is about an inch from mine her lips are hovering over mine. "So how is Delilah doing these days?" I just stare at her. "Mark!" she calls out. A Sasser suddenly appears out of nowhere "yes miss Lightheart." "Send the medical team to fetch these two and you." She points at me, "walk with me." The chains around my body suddenly disappear she begins walking down the hall I follow her keeping my distance incase she tried anything. I doubt there is really much I could to her though she seems powerful she was definitely a spirit. I start to look at the paintings on the walls. I stop dead in my tracks when I see a painting of the woman in front of me and a younger version of Delilah. She walks over and stands by me. She smiles "she was only seven when we did this one." suddenly all the pieces click into place.

"Are you Delilah's mom." She smiles at me "You are a sharp one." "come my husband wishes to meet his possible son in law." Son in law? I hadn't given much thought to marrying Delilah after all we've barely been in a relationship for a week." I wouldn't necessarily be against it though if she wanted to get married. We begin walking again I just stare at this woman in disbelief there's no way she can be Delilah's mother she's too young she looks like she is barely older than twenty five hell Delilah barely looks twenty. We stop a pair of double doors she knocks on it the doors suddenly open seemingly on their own. A man is standing next to a picture of himself he also barely looks twenty five his form is stocky he has short brown hair and purple eyes. The woman walks up to him and gives him a light kiss "so you're Antonio." I nod "and you're Delilah's father." A smile appears on his face "indeed I am so when will you be marrying my daughter?" Needless to say this question caught me completely off guard. "W-we haven't discussed it yet." Suddenly the doors behind me fly open and I see a very disgruntled Delilah standing in the doorway. "Mom, dad what are you doing?" "Just having a conversation with our son in law here." Delilah plants her face in her palms "ugh you two are embarrassing me this is why I don't come around you know." Her parents just wave her off "anyways how many children do you plan on having." her mom ask "umm Delilah you want to answer this one?" I was hoping to get out of this very uncomfortable situation. Thankfully after she and I dance around a few more questions her dad ask "so will you be at the ball tonight." "Of course." Delilah responds in a chipper tone. "good than we will see you guys later tonight." Delilah grabs my hand ok bye mom bye dad see you tonight." "bye." Is all I manage to get out before Delilah pulls me back down the hall she came when we finally get back outside she lets out a sigh, "why can't they be normal and just come visit me." I shrug "I can tell you one thing they certainly aren't boring." She lets out a giggle "no they're certainly not."

"C'mon the ball is getting closer and I need to get my dress." We get into her car. She starts it and we're off she stops at a store called Xeno drive dresses we go inside. "There is definitely a bright side to tonight." She says as we walk through the store. "What's that?" I just wanted to get this all over with wasn't a fan of large crowds. "I get to show you off in front of everyone oh by the way you're royalty." she walks up to the counter and begins talking to the woman standing there. What did she mean I was royalty? She waves me over. "C'mon I want you to make sure this dress looks good on me." "ok I think I can manage that." we walk to the back and she steps behind a curtain I sit there for about a three minutes till she finally walks out. My jaw hits the floor, she's wearing a form fitting black dress with slits down the sides so that her nylon covered legs show she also has some fancy gold earings on as well as elbow high gloves and a gold bracelet around her right wrist. She giggles "I see that you like it." I can only nod "wow I should save this for whenever you get mad at me." I finally speak "I certainly won't protest the idea." She just laughs her phone starts ringing she answers it still laughing a little. "Hello...yeah I just picked up my dress we'll be there in about twenty minutes....ok bye." "Who was that?" "Amanda she was just wondering where we were." She begins to walk out of the room I follow behind her. "What time is it?" "four twenty five the ball starts at six and we still need to meet up with our group so c'mon lets get the lead out."

We get back into her car we suddenly stop at a place that has a lot of vehicles that look like limos in the parking lot we park on a platform that is connected to it. We walk over to a large blue building with a huge sign that just said Titans' limo rentals. I open the door for her she walks up to the counter. "Hi has the party for Delilah shown up yet?" the man at the counter responds "indeed they have miss just out the door there ." He points over to a metal door we walk through the door I see Titan,Zack,Kyle,Abby,Amanda and Tina standing next to a limo chatting with na larger version of Zack he's wearing black pants black shoes and a black shirt he's wearing a blue vest that says Titans' limos obviously for advertising purposes. We approach the very well dressed group the girls are all wearing fancy dresses and the men are all wearing suits. "Hey guys." I speak first the group turns to us we earn a whistle from Amanda. "Damn talk about a power couple." Delilah waves it off "stop it Amanda you look beautiful." After we all exchange pleasantries we pile into the black limo. "Hey Titan is this your limo company?" I ask "yep I have these business on the side which to what we do." The limo starts moving, "off to the ball we go." The driver says
