"Maybe its this one?" the desperation in your voice is plain in your own ears you can't imagine how Emily must have heard it. You had been looking at this book for more then half an hour.

Emily looks at the spell your just pointed at. She reads over it then shakes her head. "No see this one does it all at once, Sarah used a slow release. This one be way to obvious."

You groan at the repeated failure to locate the spell and add that spell to your list potentials. it was an already long list but finding the right one was what this was all about. Making Tenebare lose all her inhibitions at once would make it kind obvious that you did something.

"Why can't you just ask Sarah what spell you used?" you question the still reading Emily.

Emily looks at you and raises an eyebrow. "Do you want to interrupt the threesome you stopped from being a foursome?" she actually sounded a little annoyed at you so you shut up. "Oh here." She pointed at a spell. "Slowly release your targets inhibitions with the barest touch. That's the one." Sarah's excitment was mirrored by your own as the two of you read the casting requirements. You then realised that you didn't know how to cast any spell let alone an advanced one so all you read was gibberish.

"So how do I cast it?" you have fourish hours to learn an advanced spell and use it on someone much better at spells than you. You maybe didn't think this through.

"Actually its not that hard here." She takes your hand and start to run her finger along your palm. "Just trial some magic into this symbol." You have no idea what she just said, and unlike the last few times there is no pull that you can let magic into.

"Ok how?"

"What do you mean how?" Sarah looks at you as if you just asked her how to breath, which in the context is probably exactly the same.

"I don't actually know how to cast spells." You answer sheepishly.

"What? How did you - but your?" Sarah is totally baffled and you are feeling embarrassment growing.

"This is my first day here." You answer defensively.

"Ok um, well I can, um..." Sarah has no idea what to do and you can't help but feel like you just wasted your time. "Ok how about this." She traces the symbol on your palm again and you feel a tiny pull. You let it happen and suddenly Emily in on the floor. "WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU!?" She screams at you holding her hand tenderly.

"I'm sorry I -" Before you can finish you feel a presence behind you.

"Shhh." then it is gone.

The pause was enough for Emily to get up and start storming off. You run after her trying to apologize and figure out what you did. "Wait Emily I'm sorry I didn't know what I did."

"I was trying to help you and you almost blew my hand off. Fuck off asshole." Emily is still cradling her hand you are genuinely terrified you actually did seriously hurt her.

"I'm so sorry I'll do anything please." You rush out as Emily leaves the library with you behind.

"You can get the fuck away from me." Emily says turn to glare at you.

"Please anything I'm so sorry." You beg as a part of your just come to the conclusion that this might get you thrown out.

Emily thinks for a moment still holding her hand. "Give my your hand." You some what suspiciously offer your hand then feel a slight sting. "There now you have to do what I say no questions asked." You can't help but notice that the hand that had been cradled is now seemingly fine. "Now come." She starts walking and you feel your legs moving without your consent.
