how does Aedan end the day?

speaking to the stoic Sten should help calm Aedan down

Chapter 43 by ARavingLooony ARavingLooony

Aedan could already feel his erection dying down as he attempted to make conversation with the qunari who seemed to get agitated at Aedan's questioning.

"People are not simple" Sten pointed out "They cannot be summarized in easy reference such as 'the elves are a lithe pointy-eared people who excel at poverty'

The young noble crossed his arms "are you part of some kind of qunari army? do you even have one?" he asked in a way that hopefully wouldn't come off as insulting as some people might take such an insinuation of a nation having not having one.

"I am" was all Aedan got in response.

He raised a brow "really?" Aedan asked curiously.

"The antaam" Sten stated with Aedan could hear a small amount of pride in his voice although the shirtless qunari was definately doing his best to mask it. "we are the eye's, hand's and mouth of the qunari. We are how my people know the world"

"Doesn't that make your view on things a little....skewed though?"

Sten frowned "compared to what?"

"You only learn about the the people you conquer" Aedan pointed out "although it wouldn't be too bad if you people 'learned' about Orlais" he added with a smirk.

"So you do not approve of how the qunari operate yet you would be willing to overlook it if we brought the Qun to the lands of Orlais? would that not make what your people say 'hypocritical'?" Sten questioned.

Aedan shook his head "no, not really. The Orlesian's have a history of punching down against people they think cannot stand up to them" he laughed "they found out the hard way that not every nation is as easy for them to beat as they do the elves when they attacked Fereldan"

"What does anyone truly know of the world?" Sten shrugged "the world changes. We change. The antaam observes what we can, just as you do" Sten was clearly beginning to get annoyed "is this distraction needful? we should be resting. Fighting the darkspawn tired is a foolish thing to do"

Aedan nodded "fair enough" and left the qunari to his own with the young noble finding himself a bit thankful that he knew a little bit more of the mysterious natives of Par Vollen and best of all his erection that Morrigan had caused had now died down and was nice and flaccid again thus making sleep come to him much easier Aedan knew as he approached his tent.

Dane wasn't in his tent but Aedan knew his faithful mabari wouldn't be far. The wardog didn't ake a habit of wandering too far away from his master.
