sad little mage

She looks down at the floor and sits down on a pillow next to the table. "What's the matter? Did I say something wrong?" She shakes her head and hands me another card. (Wonder where she keeps these things...) {I'm not pretty... I'm a freak....}

"I plop down next to her and gently clasp her hand. "How could you say something like that?" She starts to sniffle slightly. "Wykkyd...is this...because your mute or something?" She nods sadly and I notice a few tears start to fall from her pretty red eyes.

I pull her into a firm but gentle hug. "Dont you DARE think that, you hear me! Your not a freak, your just a sweet little thing with a cute quirk." She pulls away and looks at me quizzicly. "Samatter? Dont believe me?" She shakes her head and quickly hands me a card.

{You think me being....mute..is..cute?} {Why?} I chuckle slightly and grin to her. "Dont know really...I guess it's one of the many things that made me fall in love with you." I lean closer and kiss the tip of her nose. She puts her hand infront of her mouth and tears start to flow from her eyes again.

"Nonono..dont cry...I'm sorry I kissed you..I" I start babbeling She giggles and places her small hand infront of my mouth, and then hands me another card. {Calm down John...I'm crying because I'm happy!} {Infact.....I...I love you too John..} As I look up to her she leans over and kisses me softly.
