relive the memory

"What do you suggest then?" Lauren asked.

"I think a good starting point would be reliving the memory." Dr. Feldman said.

"What?" Lauren said, shocked. "But I keep fucking pissing myself because of that memory!"

"Yes, but often, with these repressed issues, reliving the memory can make you realize it wasn't so bad after all."

"Not that bad? I pissed myself in front of a hundred people! Then my mom stripped me and made me dance in a diaper!"

"Yes, but you were a child." He pointed out. "There's no shame in that! If you relive the memory in private, you'll see it's just a silly situation almost every child goes through, not something to be haunted by."

Lauren thought for a moment. It sounded crazy, but what did she have to loose?

"Fine." She said finally. "I'll try it. What should I do?"

"Buy a similar outfit to what you had that night." He explained. "Think of it as dress up. The diaper shouldn't be that hard to get, after all." Lauren blushed, glaring at him. She couldn't believe he knew! How embarrassing! "Then, dress up and do your dance."

"That's all?" She asked.

"Yes. Let yourself enjoy it!" He smiled. "A bit of play. Hopefully that will start to work through these issues. Then come in tomorrow and tell me how it went..."
