pretty good with a rescue

"Point me Ron," said Daisy as her wand turned to face forward. they had been in the water for about twenty minutes now and she wanted to make sure she had not gotten turned around so she would cast the spell every five minutes.

"While I would love to leave him behind not even that ass deserves to drown," she said to herself. Dumbledore might have arranged to have hostages released but there was no guarantee as long as Bagman and the ministry was involved.

she saw movement in the corner of her eye and saw Fleur racing to the surface while being attacked by grindylows. it appears they broke the bubble that was on her head earlier and now she was at risk of drowning. daisy thought about helping her but stopped when fleur broke the surface and stated to attack the creatures.

"Guess this little girl is going to show you up yet again," Daisy said with a smirk as she turned and started to go towards Ron. after a while she finally reached the village and saw all the hostages under the water. she frowned seeing the little girl in the group. she may not like fleur but did not think it was a right to put her sister at risk.

shaking her head, she took a small rock and placed it against Ron's chest before did a bit of transfiguration. she changed it into a flotation ring like you would see used on babies.it was shaped like a bright pink unicorn. along the side was the words Ron's pony. she did a quick cutting spell to cut the rope. she then watched as he started to go up.

"Nice," said a voice. surprised she turned around and saw Cedric. "He totally deserves that after the ball. has he at least apologized?"

"That would mean he acknowledged he did anything wrong. the twins tried to explain but he just ignored them," said Daisy with a bit of hatred. "Go on ahead I just want to make sure that everyone gets out."

Cedric smiled at this. "That is very nice of you," he said. "Not very Hufflepuff of me to just leave you then."

"Maybe but winning this round will just help prove how everyone is wrong about Hufflepuff," daisy said. "Besides I think I see Krum coming and you need to hurry if you want to beat him."

"Fine," he said. he was a bit hesitant, but he soon cut Cho free and was swimming to the surface. about two minutes later Krum came in with a shark head and took his friend and left not even giving her a glance. as time started to wind down, she frowned not seeing fleur anywhere. she considered just grabbing the girl and leaving but as she swam closer, she was stopped.

"Only one hostage per champion," said the merpeople holding a spear.

daisy frowned at this but just moved a bit away from the girl. she just could not leave her down here. she thought about just grabbing her and trying to swim away from the merpeople but shook that plan down. daphne had been trying to get her to use her head more than just acting on instinct. looking around she tried to come up with a plan. she needed to distract the villagers so she can get away.

her eyes then stopped and saw movement in a nearby ravine could that be the giant squid's home. taking a gamble and not seeing any better options she sent a cutting curse in its direction. it must have hit because she heard a loud roar and tentacles started to go towards the village. the guards moved towards the disturbance. seeing a chance and feeling the Gillyweed about to wear off she cut the girl free. she scooped up another rock from the ground before she started to swim to the surface. she felt the webbing fade from her feet and hands making it harder to swim. she tightly held on to the little girl as she let go of the rock. as it started to fall, she transfigured it into a wooden raft. the raft then started to rise quickly to the surface. catching the two of them as it went up.

daisy took a breath of fresh air as she reached the surface and the Gillyweed wore off. Fleur's sister also woke up upon reaching the surface. looking around she sees Ron trying to swim to the shore still in the floaty she had made. "Accio firebolt," said Daisy. the broom then came to her from where she had daphne leave it near the stadium.

upon getting the broom she turned to the girl. "Want a lift back to shore." the girl responded with rapid fire French. "I'm sorry I don't speak French." daisy soon had an idea. she got on her broom and offered a spot in front of her for the girl. she seemed to understand and got on the broom. daisy smiled at this and soon took off.

"Daisy a hand please," yelled Ron.

"Well i don't want to get yelled at by Pomfrey," said Daisy. "incarcerous," she said having rope wrap around the unicorn head. she then took the rope and towed Ron back to shore. Gabreil saw this and let out a laugh seeing Ron in the floaty.

as they reached the shore others joined in on the laugh getting a better view of what he had on. Ron quickly got out of the water and tried to remove it but daisy discreetly cast a sticking charm to keep it on him. his struggles allowed everyone to get a good view of it.
