potion effects list

this section will list effects in a broad terms and give some thoughts what and how said effect can take place and in what different ways they can happen without father ado:

body transformation effect:this effect only covers transformations that change the features of the human body while remaining human so bigger breasts,change of overall appearance, and futas are game but not tails,race,animal transformations, or mental alterations. body transformation effects mean changing the body this can be don in different ways after the potion is taken but first you have to decide does the potion effect happen immediately,over time,when certain conditions are met and further whether the person it happens to is aware of it happening,whether their new form is retroactive and if so to what extent and lastly and not to be confused with mental alterations that happen immediately what effect does having a better body have on their mental state if an ugly girl suddenly is super hot as time passes her thought process will change slowly but in most cases it wont turn a kind girl cruel or a modest girl arrogant but it may make a modest girl confident but remember the body is the body not the mind while it may affect the mind if the potion is only has a body transformation effect the impact mentally should be minimal

Mental transformation effect:like the body but with the mind mental transformations before getting into details require a few decisions such as:is the transformation total like a nerd to a bimbo and if so is the bimbo a total bimbo as in she cant control her urges and fucks all she finds attractive or is her thoughts just like a bimbo and if so what parts of the mind set does she have or is the transformation partial like the nerd becomes more confident while loosing none of her mind mental effects in potions can get out of hand fast i have read many stories while i love them the mental effects feel too much and unnecessary and many effects that increase libido in women seem to drain both their intellect and restraint overly so this seems especially prominent in many non bimbo transformations i feel their is a difference between liking sex more and constantly wanting it one must be careful to not make a character one dimensional when applying mental effects also unless you mean to take care that the mental effect evolves the character instead of making them someone totally different in essence its a wonderful plot device when used in moderation

Part transformation effects:these effects add a extra part to a person such as a tail or modifying the way a part works like changing lactation to lactating honey instead of milk not to be confused with race transformation effects since the parts mentioned are cosmetic and functional effects only not mental and existence level effects race transformations also have

Race transformation effects:race transformations mean taking on some or all of a races traits first though there a big division(at least in my mind)this the division is in three directions depending on the direction the race transformation manifests differently the directions are:human race transformations mean the transformation keeps the human form as a base and adds to that like tails,different ears or claws instead of nails human race transformations that are poplar include:succubi,incubus,nine tailed fox, and yuki onna to name a few to be clear as long as it looks human and feels human it is of this type some cases the skin can be different colors or look like skin but be scales that feel the same besides physical features human race transformations can also grant abilities and instincts for example the ability of the succubi to feed on life ****,souls or lust depending on where you get your succubus from the instincts of the succubus is like the need to have sex or the need to cause mischief of the nine tailed fox instincts are sorta like mental transformations but actually far different for example if you turn a shy female into a succubus she might be a little more confident but she will still find it hard in many cases to have sex and feed because its just the instinct not actually changing how she thinks and acts the second direction is what i call Anthropomorphic(or anthro for short) direction now i personally dont like this direction but thats just my opinion in this direction the human shaped requirement of the last is the same but the face is often a snout or animal like feature and the instead of skin you can have fur or obvious scales or snake like lower half basically while the human race transformations refines the body with the exotic this direct changes it to more animalistic a transformed werewolf would fit here while the untransformed would fit in the former the third and last direction is animal race transformations unlike the previous to this direction means go full race shift an example would be a a fox instead of a humanoid nine tails or a bear or a cat basically turning into an animal or creature of some sort now that ive mentioned the three directs let me go into what you can do with race transformations as named race transformations aim to turn the subject into a different race these transformations besides the three directions come in:full transformation,partial transformation, and custom transformations the first speaks for itself a full transformation means all the advantages and disadvantageous of the race are inherited partial can be used if you just want some like the claws,horns,high heeled feet,tails, and wings of the succubus without the need to feed on souls custom is when you pick and choose from more then one race selectively for example like the ears and horns of the succubus but the tail of the nine tailed fox basically you can pick features and abilities from all races in this one remember though as fiction the details are what you make them dont be to bound by what you read or think if you don't like it change it one excellent example of this is succubuses often are described as not being able to feel love or soulless as well as sluts you can make a succubus that is none of those or all its up to the writer of the story to say what is what

Attribute potion effects:

these type of potion effects while they can overlap with body and mental work in my opinion fundamentally differently an attribute potion effect increases,decreases,makes it easier harder, or unable to increase or decrease an attribute.attributes refer to things like:strength,constitution,charisma,intellect,wisdom,agility,dexterity,vitality,hp or mp to name some of the most common but certainly not all giving some examples how attribute potion effects would work:strength would affect things like muscle mass and density i.e. how buff you are charisma would affect things like how good you look(especially how good you look can mean a lot of things like size of dick,boobs,ass,lips to name a few),how attractive your voice sounds,general magnetism of all types even at higher levels having pheromones or something can be done intellect(or intelligence)would affect how fast you can think or not but not how well you can think that's wisdom agility or dexterity often affect how streamlined your body is a person with a high strength but a low dexterity or agility often not only moves slow but in appearance looks like a muscle monster a well balanced person looks more like a martial artist(i know that's sorta vague but that's the best way i can put it)vitality and constitution also are similar like agility and dexterity very rarely are they used at the same time constitution determines how much of a beating you can take as well as how much hp you have a high constitution may even not take any damage at all from certain things weaker then them like someone with 150 constitution would take no damage from a normal house mouse even if their bare skin was bitten vitality while similar for every point focuses less on defense but more on hp and stamina to do things with now attribute potion effects are rare while many potions in one way or another may boost a attribute but in my opinion it doesn't count as an attribute boost UNLESS the change that happens comes from the boost in attribute rather then from the change in appearance meaning this potion effect is generally used in pure non erotic rpg stories(the effects of how they effect appearance is not common i actually am taking that from a fan fiction i read that had stats affect the characters appearance this is not common by any means which is why i put it here)or erotic stories that have rpg stat screens in the end this is a more novel in my view way to play with the erotic for some authors

Ability granting potion effects:as stated this type of potion effect covers when a potion instead of directly changing a person instead grants the drinker an ability it can be non erotic(like the ability to cast fireballs,fuse items, or a passive like better stamina)erotic(the ability to shape shift,transform yourself,others, or both,attribute theft,increase arousal or change a persons mind)the ability can by permanent,temporary,usage limited, or condition based to name some more common ways of use this is a good plot device if you want things to go more gradually in an erotic story or in a non erotic story its a good adventure to give you mc so he can start from a more humble beginning

Item alteration potions:these type of potions effect not people but objects changing them, granting them abilities(some which activate on the people that wear them),giving them lif of a sort or any other effect that acts on something besides a person this effect type can affect everything besides people even a toilet

miscellaneous potion effects:these potion effects cover everything that ISN'T actually a potion. went to drink that bottle just to find out it trapped you?polishing your potion collection when a genie pops out?this effect category deals with things other then potions trapped or sealed in potion bottles

multi effect potion mix:this is the type of potion most commonly used in erotic stories why?because most transformations need effects from at least two categories to make the authors idea work even a potion that makes a female beautiful if it affects her confidence and thus her personality too much like making a nerd a party girl(or very open to things)actually makes it count as a body AND Mental potion effect(at least in my book) because you have fundamentally changed your characters personality without due progression meaning the mind HAS been affected not just the body this of course can be avoided by either making the change take place over a longer time period like a couple months plenty of time to change naturally or if you are only pairing your character with someone they already have a level of both attraction to and liking of it can be considered natural progression most else i would say is at least a duel effect potion effect
