one confuseing day

Your loves lead you out onto a viranda overlooking the village. You look out and spy that the populace has already gathered to hear what their now former elder has to say. You lean close to Fran as Jote walks out to the railing. "Um...why are they.."

Fran only smiles before kissing you softly. "The will of the green my love." Jote smiles back at you before addressing her people. "My freinds, today I have two pieces of news for you all. First abit of sad news, I will be stepping down as your elder to make way for my sister Mirjn to take my place."

The croud begins to murmer. "But why? Is there something wrong?" A random Viera asks. "Are you unwell Jote?" another asks with great consern in her voice. After calming the crowd Jote only raises her arm. "I am perfectly well, the reason I have decided to step down is because of this." She shows her bracer to the crowd.

Fran takes her cue and stands next to her sister holding the same pose. The crowd is stunded to scilence for a moment before. "T-This is WONDERFUL!" One viera yelps in Joy. "Praise be the Green!" another adds. "Jote, Fran, we must Know, Who is your mate?!" The crowd adds in gratefull desire.

Fran and Jote turn to you and both give an encourageing smile before waving you up. As you nervously walk forward Jote places her hand on your shoulder before whispering. "Everything shall be fine my belovid." You nod in turn before turning to the crowd.

"Ah....a-hehheh...hello good people of Eruyt Village." The crowd is silent as the take you in. "F-for those who dont know me, my names John Doe, and...well I just want to say that I promise to love and protect Fran and Jote with every fiber of my being." The crowd starts to murmer to themselfs.

Swallowing slightly you continue. "A-and seeing that I want Jote and Fran to have an active connection to this village I also promise to honor the will of the Green...so..please dont hate them or banish them for chooseing to love a Hume." The final statment of your improptue speech has stuned not only the crowd but Fran and Jote aswell.

A tense silent minute passes, then another, then suddenly the crowd breaks out in rawkus cheering. Fran and Jote pounce on you with a double sided bearhug. "Oh John, that was beautifull!" Jote wails as she weeps tears of joy into your shoulder. "Y-you really think so?" You ask numbly.

"Yes, ofcourse! We could all tell that your speech was from deep on your heart, and was totally laced with your true feelings." Fran tells you while nuzzleing her cheek into yours.

Meanwhile a third unseen Viera walks onto the balcony. "People of Eruyt Village, my first act as your new elder is to declare a feast in honor of this joyous occasion!" The newly revield Mirjn declares before the crowd erupts in more cheering.

turning towards you Mirjn smiles. "I'm sure you three have alot to do today, so go, enjoy yourselves. Mirjn waves you off. Jote and Fran smile impishly before clasping your hands. "Our sister is right, we still have much to do." Jote says with a mirthfull giggle. "Very true Jote, but first I believe we should get our new Mate some respectfull clothes." Fran adds with a thoughtfull nod of the head.

"Wait WHAT? Clothes?" you yelp in suprise. As Your mates drag you out of the hall giggleing all the way you again fail to notice a warm glow comeing from your gauntlet.
