"Was I wrong in asking for more time? How do I prepare for that offer?" I ask myself. "I really need to see his sister-in-law, but she's not around."

I exit the library still all the more uncertain about what to do next. "Maybe I should see his wife. But what if Dr. Zhang finds out? Would he still give the offer?"

I peruse my recent memory for names of people who may have worked for Dr. Zhang. My mind draws a blank. Maybe I should just refuse the offer outright.{elseif Jennifer == 15}I leave the office of Dr. Zhang feeling very much unsure. As I exit the door, Jennifer is waiting, her fingers busy with her phone. "How was it?" she asks excitedly.

"You were right! I was not scolded, but neither was I given a reward."

"And what was it about?" she asks.

I narrate to Jennifer what had transpired. "But I haven't made any commitment yet." I add.

"That's a wise choice, but you have to act quickly!"

"What do I do next?" I ask in bewilderment.

"I'm here to help. Remember its 50-50?"

"So?"

"We need background info about the business."

"And where do we get such inside information?"

"Wait, let me phone Vivien first. Maybe she knows something."

"Who's Vivien?" I ask.
