Quin slept pretty well that night, he did wake up once feeling hot but he just took his shirt off and went back to bed, Quin woke up the next morning by Lily who was standing over him

"your gonna be late.." said Lily

"huh? oh crap!" said Quin as he got out of bed and grabbed his school clothes, he rushed to the bathroom and got changed, once he was dressed he joined Lily as they left the room together, the hallway was pretty crowded with students now who were all walking to breakfast.

"I'm gonna walk ahead.. I prefer walking alone" said Lily and she left Quin alone, he wasn't alone for long though as Elsie suddenly ran up behind him and grabbed him arm.

"Quiiin good morning!" said Elsie, Quin wondered why Elsie was already so friendly with him..

"morning Elsie.." said Quin in a tired voice.

"come come we will be late for breakfast if we don't hurry!" Quin and Elsie hurried to the canteen, once they arrived Quin ordered some toast and looked around for canteen for a place to sit, there did not seem to be a free table at first but then he saw Nancy sitting alone, Quin decided to join her.

"hey Nancy!" said Quin as he sat down.

"o-oh hey! a-are you sure you want to sit next to me?" asked Nancy

"of course! why wouldn't I?" asked Quin

"well.. a lot of students here make fun of me.. they might make fun of you too for hanging out with me.." said Nancy quietly

"that's fine.. you seem nice so it would be a shame not to sit with you just because of that"

Nancy blushed and went back to eating, Elsie joined them now and sat in-between the 2

"Quinnnnn what lesson do we have first?" asked Elsie

"we have English.. what about you Nancy?"

"s-sports.." said Nancy "I don't think we share many lessons.."

"that's a shame.." said Quin

the bell suddenly rang signaling for them to head to there first lesson, Quin got up first followed by Elsie, they said goodbye to Nancy and headed for English.
