michael enters the house

Michael couldn't believe his luck. Laurie's mom had left for a business trip and had given him and Susan free reign of the house. He couldn't wait to take full advantage of the situation. He decided to surprise Laurie with a visit, but he wasn't going to come alone. He called up two of his male friends, and they all made their way over to Laurie's house.

As they approached the front door, Michael could feel his heart racing with excitement. He took a deep breath and then quietly shoved his key into the door opening it without the hint of a sound at first everything is silent so they decide to silently search the house for laurie. The hallway is dimly lit, with only a small lamp casting a faint glow. The walls are adorned with family portraits, and a staircase leads to the second floor. Michael signals to his friends to split up and search the house.

One of his friends heads to the living room, while the other heads to the kitchen. Michael makes his way to the bottom of the staircase, his heart pounding in his chest. He slowly ascends the stairs, careful not to make a sound. As he reaches the top, they do not find laurie anywhere so the only room left is her bedroom
