make sure Tamlen doesnt get himself killed; against her better judgement enter the cave with him

"Fine" Lyna sighed "but for the love of Mythal dont go doing anything stupid in there, Tamlen" she added "who knows what lays in store for us here"

Tamlen waved her concern off, dismissively "nothing will happen, Ma vhenan. We are two of the clan's best hunter's, we'll be fine"

"I sure hope you're right" Lyna mumbled, unsure as she joined her lover in venturing into the cave.

No sooner had the duo entered the cave they heard the dreaded loud hissing that could only belong to no other than the large spider's that called the forest. And as it seems the spider's had managed to infest the cave to the point where Lyna and Tamlen soon found themselves accosted by the oversized eight-legged arachnid's. Not exactly the most ideal location to be fighting the eight-legged animal's, their close range forced the two elves to use their dar'misu's to fight the spider's instead of the safer way of dealing with them by killing them at range.

As they progressed further into the cave, Tamlen and Lyna were attacked by more spider's. Thankfully due to being well-trained in the art of combat it took little effort to put down the monstrous arachnid creatures. The fact that they had faced the large spider's such as these out in the forest's too certainly helped a lot as well.

"What the...." Tamlen said, shocked as the two elves were attacked by strange walking corpses of some kind, their horrifying dead faces were a menace to look at. There was no time for Tamlen to continue questioning what these creatures were as Lyna had already begun working on cutting their thin and bony form's down as they shambled towards the two, Tamlen quickly joined and soon the walking corpses were vanquished.

"I cant believe this!" Tamlen said as he looked at the statue on one of the wall's "you recognize this statue, dont you?"

Lyna frowned as she studied it, meticulously "maybe a little, not by much though"

"Back when our people lived in Arlathan, statues like this honored the Creator's" Tamlen informed, peaking Lyna's curiosity "when the shem's enslaved us, most of our history was lost" he added, in an angered tone of voice. "This looks like....human architecture? with a statue of our people?" Tamlen added, confused "can these ruins date back to the time of Arlathan?

Finally there was one room left that the duo hadn't entered yet "come on, vhenan" Tamlen said, excitedly "lets see whats behind this door"

"I don't know" Lyna said, warily, she still had that strange feeling getting to her "we should return to the Keeper before pressing on any further"

Tamlen groaned "we're already this far in" he reasoned "whats one more door going to have behind it that we haven't killed yet?"
