what will be in the box?
living 3D for miniature printer
In the box was a state-of-the-art 3D printer. Stefany had heard about it. The printer was capable of creating small drones of various sizes, often used on role-playing and wargame tables to simulate various game scenes.
Stefany: It's fantastic! They gave me one as a gift! I want to try it!
Stefany connected the printer to her PC and then searched for something to create... Then she decided to upload a photo of herself as proof; the printer's internal software would do the rest, much more than Stefany expected.
Stefany opened her eyes. She found herself in a dark room, echoing with a heavy mechanical noise. She didn't understand how she had ended up in that unfamiliar place. One moment she had pressed the start print button, and the next she was there. What the hell had happened?
Stefany groped for something before reaching a wall. The surface was smooth and felt like hard plastic. As she followed the edge of the wall, the hum suddenly stopped, and a section of the wall lifted like a garage door. Stefany hurried toward the exit.
As she left, Stefany was speechless. She was on the table, a gigantic version of herself staring at her curiously. Then she realized: it wasn't the real Stefany, it was a miniature of herself. Why did she feel alive? Then a thought occurred to her, and she turned toward the printer opening. She saw 19 more Stefanys emerge chaotically and confusingly from the 3D printer. The machine was programmed to produce a minimum of 20 pieces at a time.
Stefany felt paralyzed. Now she was a toy of her original. What would she and the others do?
