You both hear a beeping noise, and the clerk looks down at his belt. He nabs a pager and looks at it closely. "Damn. Look, they need me for a bit."
"What's up?"
"Labor's getting pretty serious. Need another set of hands," the clerk says, sitting up quickly.
"What kind of work could be so urgent."
The clerk looks like he spares you a sarcastic glance. "Wrong kind of labor."
"Oh!" you say in surprise.

The clerk starts off in a hurry. "Look, just wait for me here, or you can come back another time if you want. Exit's right through there." He waves quickly at a hall with a door at the end and dashes down another.

You look after him, leaning patiently on a wall. You could wait for him... but who knows how long that could take. And could it be that dangerous around here without a guide anyway?
