Dwayne...
knows how to play the game
Dwayne was used to it. Back in college, it was a near-constant occurrence. White girls, often with some dopey boyfriend waiting in the car, would find any excuse to knock on his dorm room door. They all wanted the same thing. They'd heard the rumors, the whispers in the locker room about his BBC. They came ready to scream. He enjoyed the game. He loved making them wait, making them sweat, making them be the ones to come begging for it. He knew the power he held.
So when this new piece of ass at the gym started staring, he just smiled to himself. He saw her, of course. Pale skin, a body built for sin, a face that could make a man ruin his life. He saw the way her eyes followed him, hungry and desperate. He knew what she wanted. And he was going to make her work for it.
For days, he ignored her. He'd walk right past her, a scent of sweat and dominance, without a glance. Amanda was floored. Guys didn't ignore her. They tripped over themselves to get her attention. If he'd just said hello, she would have let him kiss her right there. But this... this cold shoulder was a new kind of torment. It stung her ego, a sharp, personal insult. Her pride was wounded. She realized, with a jolt of frustration, that if she wanted that black mamba in those boxers, she was going to have to get it herself.
So Amanda did what she knew best. She went on a shopping spree. She bought the smallest, tightest, most revealing gym clothes she could find. A bright pink sports bra that barely contained her perfect tits, and matching yoga pants so thin they were practically a second skin, leaving nothing to the imagination.
When she walked into the gym the next day, it was like a scene from a movie. Every head turned. Every male eye was glued to her. They stopped mid-rep, their jaws slack. They were gawking, drooling, a room full of starving men looking at a feast.
Barney, who had come with her, was initially hesitant. "Mandy, don't you think that's... a little much?" he'd whispered.
But seeing the effect she had on the entire room, a swell of pride washed over him. All these men, wanting what he had. He straightened up, puffing out his chest, acting like the king who owned the prized mare.
Just then, Dwayne walked in. He looked incredible. A tight black tank top stretched across his chest, the fabric struggling to contain the sheer mass of his muscles. Dark, intricate tattoos snaked down his arms. He surveyed the room, his eyes cool and dismissive, and then he started walking. Right towards Amanda.
Her heart hammered. This was it. He'd finally noticed. She stood up a little straighter, arching her back, offering herself to him.
But he didn't even look at her. He walked right past her, and as he passed Barney, he gave him a casual, almost accidental shove with his shoulder. It wasn't a push. It was just a dismissal.
Barney, who had all the structural integrity of a damp paper towel, went flying. He stumbled sideways, tripped over his own feet, and landed in a heap on the floor with a pathetic yelp.
A wave of hot, red embarrassment washed over Amanda. She shot a disgusted look at Barney, who was scrambling to get up. "God, you really need to work out better," she snapped, her voice dripping with contempt.
Barney, his face burning with shame, muttered an apology and scurried away, trying to hide the sudden, hard bulge in his shorts. The image was seared into his mind: Dwayne's powerful, tattooed body a dark god, and Amanda's perfect, pale form a goddess. He imagined them together, the stark, beautiful contrast, and a shudder of pure, pathetic lust ran through him.
Meanwhile, Amanda was in shock. Dwayne hadn't just ignored her. He had *physically* dismissed her. He'd treated her, and her pathetic boyfriend, like they were furniture. She was dressed like a common streetwalker, an outfit that could make any man in this room drop to his knees, and he hadn't spared her a single glance.
That's when she saw it. Across the room, as Dwayne was setting up his weights, he glanced over at her. And he smiled. It wasn't a friendly smile. It was a knowing, arrogant smirk. He knew exactly what she wanted. And he knew he already had her. She was a fly, and he was the spider, and she had just walked willingly into his web.
Her shock turned to a white-hot rage. But beneath the rage was something else. A thrilling, terrifying realization.
The defeat was bitter. Amanda's usual weapons—her body, her beauty, her practiced aura of unavailability—were useless against a man who simply didn't care. She tried a few more pathetic gambits. "Accidentally" dropping her water bottle near him so he'd have to pick it up. "Forgetting" her headphones and making a show of looking around for them. Each attempt was met with the same wall of indifference. He saw through it all, and the smug little smirk he'd give her from across the gym was a constant, infuriating reminder that he was the one in control.
Finally, she broke. The ego had to go. If she wanted that black cock, she was going to have to be the one to beg.
"Hey, Barney," she said one afternoon, her tone casual. "I think we need to focus on different things. You should really work on your legs and cardio. I'm going to focus on upper body." It was a bullshit excuse, but he bought it, nodding eagerly like a good boy.
This gave her the opening she needed. She positioned herself directly in Dwayne's line of sight. When he went to the bench press, she was there, on the incline press. When he did lat pulldowns, she was on the rowing machine. She mirrored him, a pale, determined shadow. During a rest period, she finally struck.
"Hey," she said, her voice a little breathless from the exertion and the nerves. "What's your name?"
He didn't even look at her, just stared at the ceiling between sets. "Dwayne."
"I'm Amanda."
"Cool."
That was it. Cold. Flat. A conversation killer. But Amanda wasn't giving up. She pushed through the humiliation. "You come here a lot?"
"As often as I can."
The wall was still up. She needed a bigger weapon. The next day, she bought a new pair of shorts. They were less shorts and more denim-colored underwear, the high-cut legs leaving the entire lower half of her perfectly sculpted ass exposed. She went to the squat rack, the one right in Dwayne's direct line of sight, and began her workout.
She bent deep, lower and lower, shoving the round, firm globes of her ass practically in his face with every rep. She knew every eye in the gym was on her, but she only cared about one. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw him stop his set. He was watching. He had to be.
After her set, she turned around, her face flushed, pretending to be surprised to see him looking. He was walking towards her. Her heart pounded. He stopped right in front of her, towering over her.
"Looking great today," he said, his voice a low rumble.
The compliment, after all that effort, after all that dismissal, hit her like a drug. A blush crept up her neck and stained her cheeks. She felt a dizzying surge of victory, like she'd just won an Olympic gold medal. "Th-thanks," she stammered, her cool facade completely shattered.
Dwayne saw it. He saw the crack in the armor, the chink in the queen's armor. He had her. The game could now enter its next phase. He became receptive. They started talking. About gym routines, about protein, about the city. But he still didn't flirt. He let her do all the work, enjoying watching her try so hard.
A few days later, Barney, feeling brave and missing his girlfriend, wandered over. "Hey Mandy, how's it going?"
Dwayne's jaw tightened. He didn't even acknowledge Barney's presence, just kept talking to Amanda as if the tiny man wasn't there. Barney, desperate to be included, stuck out a hand. "Hi, I'm Barney, her boyfriend."
Dwayne finally looked down, a long, slow appraisal. A smirk touched his lips. "Oh," he said. "I thought you were the water boy or something."
A sharp bark of laughter escaped Amanda's lips. Dwayne let out a low chuckle. The sound was like a whip. Poor Barney just stood there, his face burning. But he felt that familiar, shameful twitch in his pants. He mumbled something and scurried away.
Amanda watched him go, then looked back at Dwayne. Standing there together, they didn't even look like the same species. The size difference was enormous, a chasm of masculinity. Dwayne's hit would probably kill him. A new, thrilling thought struck her: she could never dominate Dwayne. She could never put a leash on him. The power she held over Barney was a cheap, flimsy imitation of the power Dwayne held over her without even trying. And she loved it.
