its wedding time!

Dakota kai walked awkwardly down the side walk to Tegan's car.

she smiled as she opened the door and climbed in.

Tegan smiled. "you look so pretty!"

Dakota was wearing a teal dress with a white bow on her right shoulder and white high heeled shoes.

Dakota smiled.

"thank you. you do too Tegan."

Tegan glanced down.

"thanks."

Tegan was wearing a white dress but she secretly felt it made her thighs, which were quite muscular, look a little too big.

"hey I'm proud of you." Dakota said gently.

Tegan looked hurt.

"yeah but you deserve-"

"shh. I'm fine. as long as you and Sarah are happy together I'm happy." Dakota said firmly.

she smiled and gave Tegan one last kiss.

Tegan smiled.

"well we better get going. I don't want to be late to Becky and Kaylee's wedding."

Dakota grinned.

"let's do it!"

as per decision Becky and Kaylee were greeting guests separately, trying to avoid each other until the wedding.

when they arrived Becky hugged Tegan and Dakota. they spoke for a few minutes then went to get seated.

"Becky." Sonya said with a smile.

"oh hey Sonya!" Becky hugged her.

"glad ya could make it."

after a minute of formalities Sonya leaned close.

"Becky that deal was brilliant! we are going to make MILLIONS!" Sonya whispered.

Becky grinned. "an' ta think ye just wanted me ta owe ya so ye could fook me over later."

Sonya's grin wavered.

"we all make mistakes. but you're really letting me have HALF of your playboy profits!"

Becky smiled slyly. "as long as ya hold up your end o' the deal, sure.

"consider it done Becky. and THANK YOU again."

Becky grinned as Sonya walked away.

"I'm a sly one." Becky thought proudly.

the wedding went smoothly .and Tegan caught the bouquet much to her embarrassment.

the night wore on and Dakota kai smiled as she watched Becky and Kaylee slow dance and kiss tenderly.

and despite her joy for them a tear slipped down her cheek as she imagined just for a second that it was herself and Tegan dancing instead.

"you ok?" Dakota turned to see Sonya carefully dipping her cup in the punch bowl.

"oh. yeah." Dakota smiled cheerfully.

Sonya saw how **** it was though.

"have you told her?" Sonya said quietly.

Dakota shook her head.

"I want Tegan to be happy. it doesn't matter how I feel."

Dakota scanned the crowd looking for Tegan.

she spotted her sitting in a chair playing absently with her drink cup.

Sonya followed her gaze.

"go DANCE with her for god sake! so you two aren't TOGETHER anymore! at LEAST have fun tonight.

otherwise you'll look back years from now at how you moped and haunted the punch bowl the entire wedding."

Dakota felt a real grin tugging at her lips.

"you're right! what the hell!" Dakota said almost skipping toward Tegan's chair.

Sonya watched as Dakota spoke to Tegan.

Tegan looked surprised and they seemed to debate a moment before ,hiding a smile, Tegan began waltzing with Dakota.

Becky laughed as Kaylee spun her faster and faster in circles, but held her tightly so she wouldn't risk dropping her new bride.

they wrapped each other in a tight embrace and kissed hungrily.

"we made it.." Kaylee said softly, between kisses.

Becky smiled and kissed her on the tip of her nose.

"don't ya ever doubt me, Kay lee ray." Becky whispered as they kissed.

"or is it Kay lee lynch now?" Becky teased.

Kaylee grinned.

"I dinnae I'm kinda partial te Becky ray myself."

Becky laughed and they kissed.

they had kissed plenty before and kissed during the ceremony but this time it felt real.

official.

they were wives now.

out of the corner of her eye Becky saw Liv and Rhea dancing and smooching passionately nearby.

she also saw Tegan and Dakota dancing.

Tegan looked a little ****, leaning on Dakota with her eyes mostly closed and stumbling a little as they danced.

Becky looked into Kaylee's eyes. "glad ta see everyone is havin' fun."

Kaylee hugged her tight.

"my sweet lass. I love ye Becky."

"I love ya too Kaylee."

and for one night peace and joy reigned as everyone's rivalries were temporarily sat aside to celebrate

one special love.
