it's a beautiful new friendship....or is it?

the next morning Kaylee awoke to her phone vibrating.

carefully getting out of bed so as not to wake up Becky, Kay Lee crept barefoot across the room to check her phone.

there was single text message.

Kay lee Ray quickly read the message then glanced back at Becky, still sleeping.

Becky began to stir then yawned and sat up rubbing her eyes.

she smiled when she saw Kay Lee.

"hey."

Kay Lee quickly deleted the text and laid her phone down.

"hey Becky. ready to hit the road?"

Becky climbed out of bed and stretched.

"yeah as soon as we're dressed we can go."

after showering and dressing Becky and Kay Lee got in the car and continued on to the next show.

Becky noticed that Kay Lee seemed...quiet. like something was on her mind.

"are ye okay Kaylee?" Becky asked.

Kay Lee flashed her a quick smile.

"sure Becky. just thinkin' about last night." Kay Lee said putting a hint of mischief in her voice.

Becky grinned and they both laughed.

"you might just turn me into a lesbian yet Kaylee. I enjoyed our time together last Night . I want ye to know that."

"good. I did too." Kaylee said, looking out the passenger window.

they had left the city limits by now and there was open countryside flowing past.

Kay Lee watched the scenery as it rolled passed, thinking of Scotland and feeling a little homesick.

Kay Lee's phone vibrated.

Kay Lee checked the text message.

Becky glanced over and saw Kay Lee texting.

"who're ya textin' ?" Becky asked glancing over as Kay Lee put her phone in her pocket.

Kay Lee glanced at Becky and licked her lips.

"oh it was Bayley. she's just letting us know how she's doin' in rehab."

"oh. well tell her we're rootin' for her."

Becky said cheerfully turning her attention back to the road.

Kay Lee turned back to the window and sighed.
