introducing... Boom Boom

The cheerful, singing voice is easily recognizable. This is Tabitha Smith, aka Boom Boom. The blonde teenager capable of producing little bombs is no longer part of the school for gifted youngsters, but she undoubtedly remains a loyal friend. And as usual, she doesn't leave time to put one in place.

• I finally meet the new schoolgirl from Xavier. Or so to speak. You sure are a hotty... Scott.

The former Scott, now Sarah, is a surprised. How Boom Boom is aware?

• Relax, mate, Kitty and Kurt spilled the bean. They explained everything to me.

Sarah genuinely tries speaking again, but she is interrupted by Boom Boom again.

• I also know you must be heartbroken by Jean's little extra time with Duncan. After all, your crush on her was obvious before your... well, you know. But you have to understand girls want to have fun with boys. Jean desires it, with Duncan. I want it too. And you know what? Maybe you should have fun too, letting it go. You've always been so serious before...

Sarah seems confused by Boom Boom's continuous flow. She continues to talk and talk. Sarah then ends up saying

• I guess, but...
• That's the spirit, interrupts eagerly the young mutant again. Look, meet me in the west locker room in an hour while I properly organize this . I'm going to show you some fun, see ya...

And as quickly as she typically appeared, Boom Boom leaves. Leaving Sarah puzzled.
