Chapter 25 by Stormdragon19

How does this go?

getting her ass kicked a bit

After getting redressed, she crossed her arms and tapped her foot at Kisuke. "So what's the real first-" Chizuru says before Urahara pokes her with his staff, sending her flying across the ground.

"What the hell!" She said as she bounced along the rocky ground. She got up and glared at Urahara, before noticing 3 things: the little girl that was standing next to Kisuke wearing some martial arts looking gear, the chain coming from her chest... and it leading out of her body. "Okay... what!?"

"Oh, this is just the first stage your training. You're going to need to land a hit on her. Ichigo had to the same" Kisuke held a fan over his face as the big muscle man, Tessai, threw her training materials. "You're going to need to put those on. Oh, and don't break that chain. It's the only lifeline to your body."

Chizuru looks over the headband and gloves with broken straps. "How do I put them on!?" She shouts angrily, Kisuke grinning.

"You have to use the special phrase." Kisuke said with a wide grin. "You have to hold them to your head and shout. 'TAKE THIS! THE POWERS OF JUSTICE! JUSTICE ARMOR, JUSTICE HEADBAND!! ATTACK!' "

Chizuru glared at Kisuke, Orihime looking at him with disapproval. "Hey Ichigo had to say it too!" He held up his hands in mock surrender. "Speaking of, why don't we start the match?" He nods, the little girl approaching Chizuru.

"My name is Ururu, it's very nice to meet you." The little girl said, bowing to Chizuru in her protective gear as the seemingly older girl sat there, holding her equipment. "It's very nice to meet you. I'm Chizu-" Chizuru gets cut off as Ururu suddenly takes a fighting stance. you should put the protective gear on. If you don't..." She readied a punch. "... you will die." She punched the ground directly in front of Chizuru, a crater forming and a shockwave sending her back.

'Crap crap crap!' Chizuru thought as she started running, ignoring the exhaustion of her spiritual body. 'I'm actually going to die! Fine, I'll say it!' She holds the headband to her forehead, and begins shouting. "TAKE THIS! THE POWERS OF JUSTICE! JUSTICE ARMOR, JUSTICE HEADBAND!! ATTACK!" She suddenly caught sight of Urahara with an even wider grin that before.

"And I'm two for two now!"

"FUCK YOU!" She shouted at him, having to roll out of the way of another punch from the little girl. After that, he gave the actual directions as she put them on, the straps pulling themselves together. "All right, Now, how do I do this..." She muttered, realizing that a pair of gloves and a headband were not going to do crap for her here against Ururu's might. "All i can do is keep running and dodging..." She suddenly made the same connection Ichigo had made months earlier, that since she could run and dodge, she was keeping up with the little girl. Given it was this or just die, she turned around. focusing on the small girl. "I may have never thrown a punch before, but I do know one thing about getting in close..." She visualized her precious Orihime. She dodged a punch and lunged forward. "I know how to go for the Chest!" She lunged her hands forward at orihime's boob height, whish was roughly where Ururu's face was. The girl dodged, but she did manage to accidentally scratch her cheek and then-

"Safe!" She heard Urahara say as she started coming to, Orihime having surrounded her in some kind of orange field. It seemed to be healing her cuts and scrapes. She was frustrated: wasn't the book supposed to make sure she succeeded, and also not die?! well, she wasn't dead, so maybe it worked on that front.

"You have my congratulations on surviving that hit." Urahara walked over. "Also, you passed the first lesson. Congratulations." He said as a small of confetti came out from behind his fan. All Chizuru could respond with was...

"What...?" She looked in deep confusion.

"Well, you didn't have to knock her out to pass. This first lesson was to get you acclimated to moving around in your spiritual form." Kisuke clarified. Orihime sighed as she lowered the field, having finished healing Chizuru. "For a second there, I was afraid you were going to die, Chizuru."

Having apparently passed the first training, Chizuru decided to assuage her with a cocky grin. "Don't worry, Orihime! The one thing I'm certain of is I'm going to pass with flying colors! No way am I dying to this." She gave a thumbs up, Orihime nodding with a smile.

"I'm so happy you feel that way." Kisuke said. Before the redhead could reply, he pulled a sword out of his cane and severed the chain linking her to her body. Suddenly realizing what had just happened, she suddenly felt her arms being tied in record speed behind as the floor came out from under her, and a sense of falling over took her...

How does she like Kisuke's second lesson?
