Mephisto cackled scornfully. "Details my dear Mr Fisk, details. We agreed you could have them for a year if you managed to fully convert them in a month! I think we both know you won't have that much time, not with a rather irate Reed Richards using the full power of his intellect against you."

Fisk looked doubtful, but Mephisto was probably right. "Go on", he growled.

Mephisto smirked. "I'll make a new deal with you - you can keep Mary Jane for your own purposes. I was never really very interested in her anyway. Mrs Richards is a far more tantalizing prize! I will take her away with me and you can tell her husband, without a word of a lie, that she was snatched away and you are not responsible for her fate!"

Fisk didn't like it, but he could see the sense of this.
