farewell Tegan

Tegan spent the next several hours telling various superstars goodbye.

Jacy Jayne gave her an emotional hug, they both openly cried.

Mandy and Gigi stood nearby respecting the friendship Jacy had with Tegan and as an athlete.

Tegan hugged Kay lee ray and they both said their farewells.

the only exception was Sonya Deville.

she was very brief and everyone got the impression she was just being courteous and that she was still angry.

finally Tegan hugged Becky.

Tegan inhaled hard fighting tears once again.

"thank you Becky." Tegan whispered, hugging Becky tight enough to hurt.

"I couldn't have asked for a better sendoff."

Becky held her tight.

"I wish there had been anutter' way, Tegan," Becky whispered fighting tears.

"it's ok Becky. it's like Kaylee told me. I knew what I was fighting for when I decided on the match."

Becky tightened her embrace and lovingly rubbed Tegan's shoulders through her leather jacket.

"but that doesn't make me feel any better about it." Becky confessed.

Tegan gently pulled back and cupped Becky's face in her hands.

"it's ok Becky. you just take care of this-" Tegan laid her left palm on the smack down women's title-

"-for me."

Becky nodded.

"I promise."

Tegan then leaned in and gave Becky a gentle kiss on the mouth.

another quick fierce hug and Tegan picked up her bags.

Becky watched through the glass doors as Tegan and Dakota got into Dakota's van and drove away.

Dakota would drop Tegan off at the airport so she could fly home.

"I miss her already." Becky murmured.

"ye get that sadness offa ye." Kaylee said slipping an arm around Becky's waist.

"Tegan knew as much as ye did what was at stake."

Becky sniffed as the tail lights of the van vanished into the darkness.

"yeah." Becky wished Tegan well.
