“I can’t just make a mandate like this happen.” Eve says. “If I try to **** this there will be a backlash. Students will believe have become drunk on power and try to **** them into something that is against their best interest. The only way this can happen is if we enact a referendum the students vote favorably to it.”
“We can agree to that.” Michael says.
“But we will need some gather support first.” Sally affirms her support.
“But how will we get people to vote in favor of the mandate.” Eve asks.
“I say we facilitate the engagement of interracial sex.” Sally says bluntly.
Eve and Michael both look at Sally with surprise.
“The whole reason we have so many students in favor of it, while not actually having done so is because they never had a safe place to do it.” Sally explains. “If we can provide them with such security, it would be a huge boost for the support to this referendum.”
“And how do you propose we do that.” Eve asks Sally.
“We hire a hotel where the students can come and get paired with other racial partners.” Sally continues to explain. “The only data was use is the number of people that participated and what race they are from. Other than that, everything happens anonymously.”
Eve takes a deep breath and sighs. “That will take a lot of preparation.”
“I think the diversity committee can handle it. In fact, why don’t we change our name to ‘The Mandatory diversity committee?”
“Oh, I like that.” Sally says.
Eve smiles and says. “Alright then. To ‘The Mandatory Diversity committee’.”
