Chapter 15 by Ovipositivity Ovipositivity

Teysa survives, at least...

...but she's forever changed

Teysa awoke with a yawn and could already tell it was going to be a bad day.

Her head ached. No, it was splitting. She tried to piece together the night before. A group of high rollers had visited, and she'd been sent to entertain them. Which meant...

She tried to disentangle herself from the bodies around her. This was difficult; Aliara was curled up in front of her like a cat, and she could feel Unatha's heavy arm draped over her back, the big spoon to Teysa's little one. The orc was still asleep, and naked; Teysa could feel her brass nipple rings pressing uncomfortably against her back. Slowly, over five minutes, Teysa managed to pull herself loose without waking her bedmates-- not that there was much risk of this. The Quietus had been flowing the night before, and they were probably both still high.

She groaned and stretched, feeling her neck and spine crack into place, then looked around for something to wear. She reached down to itch her leg and grimaced. Her fingers had found a streak of dried cum caked to her inner thigh. She scraped off a little and sniffed it. Lizardman, it seemed. They always make such a mess. At least there's no chance of quickening. She wiped the rest off as best she could. Great gods below, but her head hurt now.

She knew what she needed. And where she could get it. She needed a score, and Rouf was the man to talk to. He always had what she needed. Amberhaze was nice, it took the edge off, but if she didn't get Nightpoppy sometime today, she knew she'd be vomiting and jittery all night. And that wouldn't do. That wouldn't do at all. She had to earn. The boss was kind enough to feed her and give her a place to stay, but she had to earn in return, and that meant she had to be sharp.

She found a robe that looked roughly the right size piled in the corner and pulled it on. There was a shard of mirror leaning against the wall, and she checked the fit, posing this way and that. Her face looked drawn, she realized, her eyes glazed, but that was ok. She didn't have to look at her face in the mirror. These days, it was easier not to.

Padding quietly, hoping she could find Rouf before Aliara woke up, Teysa went looking for the day's score.
