awake and alive

After what feels like an eternity in the darkness, you feel this desire again and suddenly a faint mist in the form of a woman appears in front of you. You have your normal shape again and yet you can't control your body. You watch as your fingers dig into the luminous mist and you eat away at it. Threads of this luminous mist waft along your arms into your body and you notice how your pain and exhaustion diminish. But suddenly the something is torn from your fingers and you wake up. You look into the brown-green eyes of an unknown woman. Your sperm flows out of her mouth.

Even before you are aware of what is happening, the woman is pulled from your camp by her hair. She throws a dress over her head and leaves the tent again. You look at the stranger with irritation. It is a tall, slender woman in a gray-red dress.

"There you are again." She drove at you and closed the tent. She knew your name, your real name. "Who are you?" You ask, puzzled and irritated.

"How did you know I was a fallen one and not just a human." She puts on a glove and pulls two crystals from a pouch. "This is an obsidian, it reveals the ascended ones." With these words, she puts the stone on your hand and nothing happens. "But this is a rock crystal, it reveals our form." She presses the transparent stone on your skin and it begins to glow and become hot. After a few moments, she puts the stones away again.

You flinch, startled. "Watch out for those crystals." She says, grinning at you. It seems there is still much in Arid that can be your undoing. "What happened to me?" You ask thoughtfully.

"Ohman, don't they teach you anything anymore?" She asks, a little annoyed, looking around. "Your human body is not designed for your true powers. If you use them, you harm him. But your soul energy heals it again. You also use it to live longer as humans and age less. So you are always using it. Everyone can only store a certain amount of this energy, everything above that is lost. You can draw this energy from people, but only if the will of the person is broken or he is devoted to you and therefore has no defense against your cravings. That's why you couldn't get energy from that barbarian either."
